ATMOPSHERE< NOWT TO DO WITH COLOUR

And everything to do with play, and play like that will bring the roof down, we had speed and some many options at time it was embarrassing, I bet the Wolves manager's half time tactical talk was "JUST TRY AND KEEP THE f*cking SCORE DOWN"

I hate the Red but today was class to be fair.

Realy enjoyed it, decent atmosphere, no trouble, plenty of people wearing red sat side by
side with those in Blue no problem at all and everyone behind the team.

As long as we play alright, the atmosphere is quite good. When we play shit, it's silent.

Gwyn
Who said it was to do with colour ?

I always thought it was the new stadium, the way its set out, families next to away fans etc and a lot of the new type of fans.

It also helps when you have big away support and your team plays exciting football, quite good today the atmosphere. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Yeah having the pitch in the middle with the seats round the outside is awful

I agree gwyn its whats going on infront of people that get them going but i dont think the colour has anything to do with it as it was no diffrent when we played in blue but ive not seen us play that well since last november tbh so can not remember the last time it was a half decent atmosphere at the ccs before today :ayatollah:

The family stand half empty did not help .How long is the club going to tolerate this before addressing the issue. :ayatollah:

Regarding the atmosphere, I've always since the move, thought that it's probably because of the build up, at Ninian if you were on the Bob or the Grange you had to be there a good time before kick off for a good/usual spot so the atmos built.
At the ccs it looks half empty till nearly kick off so no real crowd momentum.

Yes, but if you're not in your seats you're spending money downstairs! All modern stadia have the same idea. I know that those places at the back of the old Bob Bank looked like health hazards for the last few year and the queue to buy beer or food was usually huge - the new stadium at least is an improvement in that respect! :ayatollah:

Wolves fans seemed very quiet to me ?

Enjoyed that today but the style of football on the field definitely got the fans going :ayatollah:

It's been f*cking woeful since we attracted the fans that jumped on the bandwagon after our last promotion. The new stadium doesn't help but for me it's due to the sheer amount of plastics that simply don't understand football. This we love you cardiff wish washy happy clappy bullshit has slowly killed this club.

The colour change has also had a marked effect judging by today. I saw many Asian fans at the game and again they do not understand our footballing culture, it will only get worse but oh well.

You are being serious? Maybe you should change your seat if all you can see is the family stand
The canton and grandstand had hundreds of empty seats but f**k all said about that is there

Why do you feel the need to swear? From the Canton you cannot but help look out towards the family stand and notice the amounts of empty seats.I agree that there were a few empty seats today in the Canton and the Ninian also. The difference is that the family stand still has the empty seats during the big matches also and this needs to be sorted out. Another strange thing is that the announcer stated that we had over 22,000 attendance yet sky were claiming just over 20,000 ? :ayatollah:

Is this what you'll be like every time City put in a good winning performance? Further rub the rebrand into everyones faces with your pathetic propaganda rubbish?

A few people have said that but surely if you are doing a tax dodge then you would under declare but we are over declaring and must surely be paying more tax as a result ?

That really is a crazy response to you Gwyn.

Never mind, great atmosphere, great performance, this is amongst the most excited I've been about our chances for a very long time. :ayatollah:

And, having seen the new strip a few times now, I think it looks absolutely great - and a really nice mix of blue and red in the stadium with no trouble between any of our fans, which will obviously make for a better atmospher than if there were to be any trouble - I couldn't be happier at the moment :ayatollah:

Re: ATMOPSHERE< NOWT TO DO WITH COLOUR

My initial post was all positive, many people (Annis must have missed those posts) had said they would not cheer or feel the same because we were in red, others had said it would cause division in the stadium and affect the atmosphere, I feel it certainly did for the Huddersfield game and I did have concerns that it may set a trend, but in truth as i tried to say, it really is down to what goes on during the game as to effort, goals , refereeing decisions etc.

Huddersfield game was crap, coz the game was crap, yesterday it was good because the game was good.

People have romantic memories of the atmosphere at Ninian Park, but I can say hand on heart, there were far more crap atmospheres than good ones there in the last five decades, but when the game was good and the stand were full, then it did bounce. :old:
