But I honestly believe we should give Malky 10 to 12 games.
Let's look at the alternatives we had.
Alan Shearer was the one Tg and Vt wanted and we only never had him due to Shearer turning us down at the last moment.
Robbie Fowller applied, never given an interview.
Di Matteo, had an interview told not to come back for a second interview.
Chris Hughton applied also told not come back for a second interview.
So if Malky is sacked, who can we get, but who at our club is the right person to chose him ?
I def never wanted Shearer.
Personally I once again say give Malky a chance for at least 10 games.

im a big critic at the moment, but i still believe we must let malky sort it out and give him longer than 3 games...
however we def have egg on our faces with how well roberto di matteo is doing, to think we didnt want him..
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:21 pm
Alan curbishley who i wanted from start, i dont want malky get sacked just for him change tactics and style which are stale and clearly dont work to a great success drawing alot of games is nit a great sucess
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:22 pm
it be a massive mistake if we got rid of malky now.we all need to get behind him,i'm shocked fans want him out after three league games.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:22 pm
i give him till the end of october then thats it for me

I agree Annis, I feel we need to give MM more time to allow the team to gell, i for one is looking forward to the Wolves match, I'm sure in this match we can get our season going in front of a home crowd, bring it on.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:28 pm
he needs to do a dossier on his own shortfalls i think
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:32 pm
The fact that some of our fans want Malky out already just shows how clueless some of our fans are.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:32 pm
Nowhere near the majority Annis. Just a handful who make a lot of noise.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:33 pm
We need to keep on top of things, this could be a trend, we have now lost one league game in the last thirteen, we must stop the rot, because at that rate by the end of the season we'd have lost around 4 games in total and surely that's not good enough.
And please don't go using the excuse that he's done some great deals and discovered some player who have already be valued in millions from next to nothing, and using and developing our youngsters and creating a long term future for the club, f**k that we want instant success and now, all this losing an away game after thirteen undefeated games, it stops now.

To sack Malky would be outrageous.. give the man a chance!! Don't turn on him and repeat the ugly scenes from the end of DJ's time here.. I still believe the lack of support our fans gave the manager was 40% of the reason we didn't go up that year, and I feel his continuous comments about how good the Wednesday support has been is a rightful pop at how he was treated by us.
We can NOT afford the same thing to happen with Malky.. This year is our chance. Don't turn on the manager.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:33 pm
Why are you assuming that the majority of our fans want him gone though? There's only a small amount of people who you could count on one hand who have said they want to replace him.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:37 pm
some of our fans are very sad indeed
i still cant understand the hatred towards dave jones a guy who took cardiff to a major cup final and from obscurity to consistent challengers for promotion
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:41 pm
I question MM like most fans they have doubts over him with the squad hes craved for last season now hes got it, it seems to be the same football that failed us after jan but never said once sack him hes got 8-10games for me then i will be on his back if things do not improve
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:48 pm
We got to give Malky til November, if by then things are not going to good it's time for a change before the busy xmas and new yr period. I think someone like Mick McCarthy who knows what it takes to get out of this division, but i hope it doesn't come to that
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:49 pm
Surely we should give Malkay at least a full season!
Or do we give him as many seasons as as we gave dave moans?
Whatever, at end of day the players themselves need to take a good long hard look at themselves and ask "am I justifying my salary?".
Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:56 pm
Bellamy player manager.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:01 pm
I'm certainly not in the Malky out brigade........then again I was not in the DJ out gang either.
I would just like Malky to be a bit more adventurous and flexible at home where the onus is on us to go for the victory. We are decent away generally just think we need to be winning more home games this season.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:07 pm
Malky recently signed a new contract until 2016, we payed 300k compensation for his services, plus if he left wouldn't his backroom staff want to leave as well? Meaning it'd cost a lot to get them gone as well, the players he's signed, some have signed solely because they knew Malky, the way Malky talks he wants to build a legacy here, he doesn't seem like he wants to go anywhere and I'm sure TG was appreciative for his work, so we won't be seeing him gone any time soon unless we're bottom with ten games in
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:12 pm
This thread borders on the insane
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:16 pm
Annis, I understand why you have made this thread, I believe you are talking to the fans who have suggested we replace Malky with A.N.Other, which in itself is ludicrous, no-one was more damning of yesterday's result and last Friday's performance than myself but for some fans to even be discussing it is mad.
You are clear in saying Malky needs to be given time to turn things around but your choice of the word 'majority' in the headline is surely wrong. There are a couple on the message boards and there were a few who came up to me at the final whistle yesterday but I put that down to the heat of the moment.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:17 pm
certainly dont wont him out but think he is narrow minded on team selection and tactics at times
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:20 pm
some of us on here, must be wearing the wrong HEAD ------ ffs---------- 3 GAMES.

Have to agre, ok we all knee jerked a bit and Malkys football is dire but to talk about sacking him is nuts.
Sun Aug 26, 2012 6:31 pm
To even think about replacing MM is just crazy. I mean come on wake up and smell the coffee. We are Cardiff not Barca, Man City and such.
Yes the football has been dire for ages I agree, but lets not forget MM is rebuilding a team and it will take time to get what his model of football is from the drawing board and onto the pitch. Remember its a marathon not a sprint. Look at Reading last year.
Get behind the team.
