Harry would never come to Cardiff, his wages would cripple the club for a start and the transfer budget he would want would be out of our depth. He's only proven to be a good manager when he's had a wad of cash to spend. Our debts are hanging over us like a Damocles sword as things stand , the last thing we need is to end up like Portsmouth.

Yes he got Portsmouth into Europe, he also spent nearly 63 million pound in transfer fees during his time there, yes he made Spurs a top team but spent 127 million pound on players in the process. it's hard to judge how well he would have done with the limited resources he would have at a club like Cardiff who have to live within their means when he's always been backed with large amounts of cash.

Sorry but you are wrong to claim hes footloose and fancy free with the cash. Hes a wheeler dealer and actually spent very little NET spend at Spurs. Spurs sold 27.5m more than they spent last season for starters. Parker for 6m, VDV for 8m, Adeybayor on loan, just some of the fantastic deals Aarry done at Spurs.

I never said he was footloose or fancy-free, Portsmouth lived beyond their means for far too long and that is the fault of the board at the time, I was just pointing out that he was always well backed by the clubs he has been at, the side that he put together at Spurs was simply awesome and played some of the best football last season in the Premier League. I was only questioning whether or not he could repeat the same thing at a club with limited resourses.

You said he was only a good manager cos he had money to spend but you totally dismissed the money he brought in.

Hes renowned as one of the best wheeler dealers in the game. A bot dodgy yeah but f*ck me he worked miracles at West Ham.

Pompey, when they were in the Championship, he worked his wheeling dealing magic there too to get them promoted in his first full season.

I was short sighted not to mention the income he brought back into the club as you correctly pointed out and agree that he is one of the best wheeler dealers in the game today. He added that extra bit of quality to an already strong Portsmouth team and that is what made the difference for them in back in 2002. I would love to see his brand of footbal played at the CCS but realistically we couldn't afford him.

I agree his stock is too high now to drop down to the championship but would love to see his attacking football down here.

I went to see Paul Merson the other day do his after dinner gig and he said that year Redknapp got him down Pompey in the Championship was one of his most favourite seasons. He said there wasnt much tactics just Arry making everyone feel they world beaters. A special skill no doubt.

Stranger things have happened, he might fancy one last crack at managing a sleeping giant  .

You just can't buy a skill like Man Management, you've either got it or you havn't and it's amazing how a few words spoken in the right way can get someone running through brick walls for you.

There's no doubt about - Harry would do the Job . Malky won't he's very limited and has no vision even at half times before his team talk holds a meeting with his staff due to his limited vision .

Nice Bloke Malky but not got it - you lot just got carried away with the hype .

As for Harry - he's class act , class bloke but one you just can't trust , ask Billy Bonds

Billy couldn't hate anyone but apart from Harry .

As a Manager though he's class no doubt about in all departments his main one that of getting the best out of players .

But you can only dream because your next Manager will be Bellamy

And I can see it before the end of the season .

Malky will be undermined and Bellamy will sell himself to his buddies in Kula Lumpar .
