to win your opening game, with all the pressure on Cardiff, against a newly promoted side like Huddersfield,who gave it there all for 90 mins and a stadium virtually soulless,if we had lost or even drawn, pressure would of soon mounted, so they were probably the best 3pts we could get this side of Xmas.

Huddersfield aren't going to struggle this year, they are agood team and on a roll, that was a big hurdle and a great start if only in the result, a massive three points.

U wouldn't say it was soulless good atmosphere at times, in the canton anyway, good 3 points though and kept going to the end, onwards and upwards from this I think

that we were poor tonight for long periods, however the negativity on this board is Shocking

i agree with this, helguson clearly likes the ball at feet to hold it and play the pass, im suprised by how many headers he actually won also, but for 60 mins or so, it felt just like kenny miller playing... it was the same shit just different personnel..

conway should have started instead of cowie also in my opinion..

First 5-7 games are freebies for me in regards to how we play, I've seen better teams than us player worse than that today and win. Its working progress, signings still to be made and the new guys still need to bed in. God some fans love a moan about absolutely anything, nothing is good enough. Completely spoiled.

todays performance will be ok for the next two away games, but wolves at home is going to be a real tough game.... hoofball wont work against them and they have bags of pace out wide...
