HOW CAN ANYONE FEEL NEGATIVE

Not trying to be a clever tw*t now, coz I genuinely feel sorry for people who can't accept the changes that we have accepted at a cost to all of us.

I don't know any real fan who wanted to change colours or is happy to change colours, but I do know thousands of fans who will reluctantly do it for the chance of finally getting the investment and backing that all clubs need to get to the top, and us Cardiff fans deserve to be at the top coz we haven't had much to celebrate and we have a lot of crap to put up with on and off the pitch over the last few decades. We have earned that right to say, we have served our time, and now is our time.

To me the colour shirt was our flag to rally behind, but we simply have a new colour flag, we are the same fans, the same club, we haven't lost our history, how can we lose our history as long as we stay in business unlike rangers who's history is now put in a box and shelved away. They have to start again from zero, is that what we want over the sake of a colour.

The Malaysian's didn't come into rescue us, they didn't come in because they were charitable, they came in because they could see the potential and they had the clout to fulfill that potential with a view to making a big profit, anything wrong with that, not in my eyes, just sadness that no Welsh or even British business or investor could have seen it for themselves.

I feel really positive.

1. We won.
2. It was 80% blue shirts 20% red althought eh reds did stand our because they look like Bristol City fans.
3. There was only a few thousand there. I see the stay aways as postneially bringing the blue numbers up.

People are free to wear red or blue. A long as people support the team and don't give eachother shit.

Some people see the reds are sellouts. Some see the blues as scared of change.

Showing support for the team does not mean you agree with the colour change, it means you are Cardiff City FC through and through and want the team to do well, for them, for the management and owners, and more importantly for US, the long suffering fans.

I cant get to games these days being in NZ, but the photos I saw from yesterdays game were pretty sad. As I would prefer to have stayed blue, I will wear a blue shirt to the Huddersfield game. But after that, I'm buying and wearing a red one, to show my support to the team and the club.

However TG and VT will be monitoring our attendances very closely.
In the last few seasons we averaged 21~23K so it will be interesting to see the impact of the rebranding as on our support.

VT isn't interested in those who think its their club, its his club, if we get promoted this season he doesn't need those who wish to moan and not accept his rules. Promotion will fill that stadium week in week out. The premiership\sky have changed clubs, as I don't remember chelsea selling out the ground or arsenal etc when it was just div 1. VT knows that new fans will come to watch city in the prem and will then become ST holders etc. Just as our ground will be near enough full after xmas if we are in for the title!

We don't deserve to be the top of anything, we are no more deserving of success than anyone else, and while some are happy to be the laughing stock of the country, others are not. Surely you mean many have reluctantly accepted the changes and a few feel alienated. A vast majority of our fans have accepted the change and are very excited about our future. I genuinely feel sorry for you and hope that in time you soften your stance because we really need to be a united club.

Not trying to be a clever tw*t now, coz I genuinely feel sorry for people who can't accept the changes that we have accepted at a cost to all of us.

I don't know any real fan who wanted to change colours or is happy to change colours, but I do know thousands of fans who will reluctantly do it for the chance of finally getting the investment and backing that all clubs need to get to the top, and us Cardiff fans deserve to be at the top coz we haven't had much to celebrate and we have a lot of crap to put up with on and off the pitch over the last few decades. We have earned that right to say, we have served our time, and now is our time.

We no longer want to be known as the big club, with a huge fans base, that are well known for nothing other than having the maddest and some times most frightening fans in the country, sometimes mistakenly because we haven't been treated well, but also if we are honest because we had nothing going for us on the pitch, so fighting and causing chaos became the attraction for many rather than the football, which is now the case.

We have moved on and many of the culprits have grown up and moved with the times to what some people call modern football, do they love the club less than they did, No, I don't think so, if anything they love the club more, because we now more than ever feel part of the club and we feel responsible and want the club to succeed.

Some still miss being a fence thickness away from intimidating away fans and making sure they are so scared they never come to our stadium again, others realise those days are gone.

To me the colour shirt was our flag to rally behind, but we simply have a new colour flag, we are the same fans, the same club, we haven't lost our history, how can we lose our history as long as we stay in business unlike rangers who's history is now put in a box and shelved away. They have to start again from zero, is that what we want over the sake of a colour.

The Malaysian's didn't come into rescue us, they didn't come in because they were charitable, they came in because they could see the potential and they had the clout to fulfill that potential with a view to making a big profit, anything wrong with that, not in my eyes, just sadness that no Welsh or even British business or investor could have seen it for themselves.

When they first came in I was glad of their investment because we were in a real mess, part of me was concerned thinking why have they come here, are they out to screw us over in some way.

But I have bought into them because they have earned that trust, they saved us and they have long term plans, the academy, the training ground, the increase to stadium capacity, the team investment, does this look like people out to asset strip us , or make us successful with a view to making a profit from us, and good luck to them if they do.

Could they f**k us, course they could, but would be any worse off than we were when they cam in, I very much doubt it, so let's give them a chance and see where we get.

The idea of them 'asset stripping' is the worst scaremongering of all.

Common sense should prevail.

The only 'assets' Tan could strip are the ones he's put in place.
