That our season ticket sales will take off, due to Craig Bellamy's and Kim Bo Kyung signing for us.
At this current moment approx 3,000 have not renewed from last season, lucky we had over 1,100 new ones who bought a season ticket to get carling Cup Final tickets.
Season tickets are on sale at this current moment direct from the ticket office during week days.
Why do u think we are currently down on sales ? Opinions please.

Annis ,discussed before that unless City get promoted there will be a lot less next season. Bellamy,s signing may generate a few more this season but City need a good season.

Are season tickets on sale? A mate said he couldn't find them for sale on e-ticketing.
Sat Aug 11, 2012 4:11 pm
Not for sale on match days.

Red shirts, shit badge more lies.

Hmm. We're down on sales from the greatest amount we've sold in our 100+ year history. Who'd have thought that could ever happen eh.

Recession, football crowds have been in decline for years,

No thanks, change back to blue and have Tan personally apologise and then I'll think about it

Anyone who doesn't think it's due to the re-brand is ignorant.

Would anyone be able to help me i want to renew my seaon ticket and was wondering if the finance option was still avidable and if so how would i get around to doing so ?
Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:23 pm
The economic situation obviously has an effect. Also, those who got free tickets for kids, and much reduced rates for under 16s, suddenly find its a lot extra to find when they get older.
Out of the 19,000 or so season ticket holders, I suspect that only 15 or 16,000 are regular attenders anyway.

Will people come to the first few games and then maybe buy a season tkt, or not.
If they like what they see then hopefully they will renew or buy.
Maybe a reason as to why sales are down.
The rebrand has pissed a lot of people but I think the majority will buy and come back.
Bellamy coming will definetly sell more season tkts, shirts and create a big "buzz" like last time he came but I think the colour change will dampen the excitement somewhat and it won't be as bigger "buzz" unfortunately.
I'm excited and thousands more are about the coming season......Can't wait for Tuesday
Big changes we have had to accept and now adapt to.........
I was tuned in to the game today and on this board I saw someone say about the corner flags had changed, and I felt sad when I read that but then we scored

,
ups and downs.

I'm sure it will suit some to blame the rebranding but in case you missed it the reality is the world is in economic crisis right now.
Unemployment in Cardiff and surrounding areas increased from 2011 to 2012. Consumer confidence has fallen. Other European countries are on the verge of financial collapse. We are all thinking carefully about how we spend our money. Family, housing and food are the top priority, not Football.

This^^^ is probably the main reason. I have'nt got a season ticket for this year because of my job. I now work afternoons regular, meaning i'd miss most if not all mid week games.

whatever way you dress it up league cup final aside the football served up at the ccs post xmas was dreadful in my opinion and was one of the factors why people did not renew
Sat Aug 11, 2012 5:45 pm
The football was crap last season but I don't think that would stop people renewing specially as we were promised investment in the squad and as that has happened then you would have thought our ST number would increase.
Pretty obvious why it is down.

Well I don't think it's down rebranding,as season tickets go on well before they said they where going to rebrand.
It's down to recession and the cost of living going up.

I think the re brand must have had some impact and it could be even more next season. Many fans re newed their season ticket prior to the cup final on the understanding they would get extra seats. Then the club re branded. I would suggest that the vast majority of fans renewed their season ticket prior to the re brand. There must be fans who would not have re newed if they had known about the re brand and are just going to see this season out and not renew or see how things go this season and then decide.

Some of us don't like the rebrand one bit, plain as.

Although a little strange today, after a while I realised I was watching our players for who and what they are, not the colour of a shirt. Sorry but I have much more important things in my life to worry about than a red shirt and Cardiff City will still be my release from the pressures of life

Spot on

The difference was the initial early sales.
People will want to add this to the anti=red campaign but the facts and timing simply don't back that up.
Let's have a look at the average crowd stats come end of the season and then see if there is any connection with people losing the faith. I would be surprised if that was the case given the way we seem to be shaping up
