Is there nearly £20 million in there to cover the shortfall this year then?

QPR’s move for Liverpool FC forward Craig Bellamy looks doomed to failure with the Welshman set to return to his hometown club Cardiff City.

Bellamy is being allowed to leave Liverpool FC as part of manager Brendan Rodgers’ Anfield revolution halfway through the two-year contract he signed last summer.

A member of the Team GB London 2012 Olympic Games squad, the 33-year-old was named as a target by QPR earlier this week but it is understood a deal for Bellamy to join Cardiff had already been agreed.

It is set to be confirmed as soon as Bellamy’s involvement in the Olympics is over.

Rodgers would have been happy for Bellamy to stay and play a bit-part role in Liverpool’s Premier League campaign, with the Wales international figuring more frequently in cup games both domestically and in the Europa League.

But the chance to lead Championship club Cardiff back to the big time is more attractive for the much-travelled forward, whose last stay at the South Wales club ended in play-off semi-final failure.

On that occasion, in the 2010-11 campaign, he was on loan from Manchester City who released him that summer before he joined Liverpool for the second time.

Malky MacKay’s side have ambitious plans for the new campaign, with the Bluebirds having changed their traditional kit colour to a new red strip.

Bookmaker Sky Bet have slashed the odds for Bellamy to join Cardiff before the end of the current transfer window to 1/3, with QPR eased to 5/1.

Same subject? This is regarding Bellamy, the last on was regarding kimbo. Both have the same outcome, adding to our already 103% of income on wages stat.

Which anyone will tell you is a disaster.

Do you have a girlfriend?

I'm guessing no.

I'm kind of seeing a smelly scruffy bedroom with sheets so stiff with jizz that they
resemble popadoms. Greasy hair, lots of computer equipment. Perhaps some
borderline 'youngster' videos in the cabinet disguised as 'Swansea's Greatest Goals'
on the front cover

Your not gay, nope. I'm convinced your just unlucky with women, soap may help!

but you are pretty much friendless, this mesageboards importance has taken on epic
proportions in your life.

Sometimes you get so wound up about Cardiff (Capital) City that you forget to masturbate
dont you. It makes you even angrier with life.

I predict you will end it all within the next twelv months.

You will be undiscovered for weeks. Even your mam thought you'd left home.

RIP feller.

Thank god for that!! 33 year old has been!

Haha only joking I'd of loved Bellamy at QPR, fit as a fiddle & determination in bucket loads.

Delighted with the business we have done close season & signing Junior Hoilett is a top top signing but think Bellamy will do wonders for you boys. Great signing if it comes off & well done in winning the race for him.

Hoilett is a quality signing for you aswell, could never reach his full potential under Steve Kean, even though he did brilliant there, I think he will excel at QPR. :ayatollah:

Well since then MIller, Taiwo, Naylor, Parkin, Quinn, Wildig and Heaton have left the club. Plus Dave Jones and Terry Burton are no longer on the payroll. This has freed up a lot of money on wages for new players

You can't be sustainable if you spend more than your income on wages.
