Lucas is better than Neymar. Neymar would get found out in the EPL. Too much focus on the tricks. He doesn't always set the world alight in Brazil either whereas Lucas regularly shines. Neymar doesn't possess the strength he would need in this league like Ronaldo did.
Neymar is holding out for that Barcelona or Madrid move so he can play in a league where you get space on the ball and he'll look awesome around a bunch of global stars.
Ganso is also very good.

Which is why Neymar has been linked with Real, Chelsea and a number of other clubs at 40m+
Neymar is better. How much Brazilian football do you watch?
Ganso is young, he has potantial, but there are better players out there

Lucas has been linked with them all too. Neymar is hyped because of his skills but he gets given so much time in Brazilian league. I watch it a lot. Manchester United, Real, Barca, Inter, Chelsea, all want Lucas but they're holding out for 40m euros +.
Lucas would be much better in Europe. I have to agree with Lucio sorry.

Brazilians love skills, Neymar does them all the time. He has been hyped up because of it. Then his hair, his media deals, hes the Brazilian Beckham ( not in terms of style and play or position but, great commercially).
The reason Neymar only wants to go to La Liga is because it suits his style of play and he knows he wouldn't cope in the Premiership. He is a constant diver, spoilt brat on the pitch when he dont get his own way and would struggle with the physical English game.

He's one of the few players that you can give the ball to when there is nothing else on, he can have a man up his ass, one to his side he will chop it the other way and play the ball. The movement off the ball from him is some of the best you will see, so hard to mark a player like him. His pace and and speed of his feet is crazy, tonight he flicked the ball forward the CD had 10 yards on him and he still left him for dead.
What is funny with this thread is the names being mentioned, Lucas, Neymar, Oscar and Ganso you all missed the stand out player of that team Romulo. That boy is a different class, he allows the attacking players to do what they want.
Going back to the original message, you say the position of false number 9 what do you mean by this? A number 9 is there to score you calls and that's it. You don't want him picking the ball up 30 yards from goal and scoring a worldy, you want him in the box scoring tap ins. Leave all the fancy stuff to your number 10.

Do not include managers as they have evolved with the game as it has gone on and know first hand the changes made and been instrumental in the changes so Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho, Rodgers etc. dont really count. They play good tactical based football.

Tactics these days are completely different, there are different positions such as the false number 9, the deep lying playmaker that was basically the role of Alonso at Liverpool, Britton at Swansea, etc.

Would be interesting to get a tactical explanation from someone, maybe a list they compiled on talents abroad and why they want them for their system. Lets see who is really good at this then.

Sorry but what the f**k is the EPL I am assuming you are reffering to the Premier League? It has never been called The English Premier league so why abbreviate it to such. It's a particular bug bear of mine, I usually let it go but if your gonna be a condescending tw*t then get the name of the league right first

Outside of England it is commonly referred to as the English Premier League (EPL).

Kenny Dalglish used to play exactly the same position at Liverpool in the 80's.
He'd hit the box, then drop out again, bring other players into the game, float
around outside the box.... then viola... there he is again in the 6yd box. BANG..1-0
Your spot on about these little Argies/Brazilians etc not being physically strong enough for
the 'EPL' ... back in the day, little Osvaldo Ardiles was shit for Spurs, barely got a kick
and was bullied all day long. That was in the old first division where they could kick you
6ft up in the air and YOU'd get booked for getting in the way!!!![]()

Listen... you cant touch the little fellers these days. There is little or no physicality in the
modern day game. Aaron lennon, Nasri... these lightweights seem to do alright?![]()

Maradona? Messi?
Your problem is, its quite obvious you've never kicked a football in your life. Try marking a
shorter player, with a lower centre of gravity. They know how to use that to their advantage
and barring kicking them up in the air (which is foul play, and if the 'referee's assistant' catches
you then it could be a yellow!!)
From your post, are you suggesting that ex players etc are not the best equipped to manage
'modern football' Clubs?

The 4-6 formation won't catch on, not many player will have the players good enough to play it. The false number 9 is something you've made up i think. The role you are talking about is the number 10 role.
