Can you clarify something for me as I have not yet received the Trust`s notice of the meeting. I do not doubt at all what you have said , but it seems a strange way for the club to go about things.

You say its an Annual general meeting being called , but there is no obligation on the club to have such a meeting since the law changed a few years ago. What it does need is an Extraordinary general meeting (like it had last year) as it needs to increase the number of shares available to issue again for VT etc. to fulfil their promise to convert debt to equity - you can`t do that at an AGM unless there is a specific agreed resolution set out in the notice to do so.Without passing the relevant resolution , there would be an excuse for a further delay in converting debt to equity even if the Langston matter is settled soon.

On a serious note, I did wonder why its been called, because we havent been calling them every year. Last year TG said they were changing their loans in to shares at the meeting, were still waiting, I wonder what they will say this year ?

Strange one this. Why are they calling a meeting when they don't need to? They're not usually ones for inviting awkward questions, and it makes me worry that more bad news is going to be forthcoming.

Hope I'm wrong though as its about time they answered the fans queries instead of dodging them

I've wanted to be a shareholder for years mate but eversince I've been interested the club has only sold shares to existing shareholders. I have contacted TG about it but nothing come of it

there is no quoted price for a Ltd, the shares are not listed on any exchange. any price is agreed between the buyer and seller

If you were to buy them you'd most likely pay the same as everyone else (except the Riddler !) which is around 17p per share.

Thanks Carl , keep up the good work - I certainly appreciate your info (and I am intelligent enough to know things change , nearly done deals can collapse etc , therefore your info is good at time of posting even though certain things may alter).

He had previously said he was going (thread since deleted from AA board) and I was expecting to see him there , but he wasn`t.

The club weren`t expecting him as they had received no proxy from Annis enabling Carl to attend.

Glad to see this thread has not been deleted as Since62 is claiming on CCMB.

Apparently the club weren't expecting me to attend today as Annis had not sent the proxy form in for me to attend on his behalf, I am guessing that Keith must have asked the question if I was attending ( Why would someone be so bothered? ) or maybe TG announced it from the top table but I think it is safe to say it is not the latter.

The proxy form was posted to the club because I sent the form in myself but for Keith's benefit and so he is fully aware, Alison has just lost her grandfather and there are matters to deal with ie.funeral arrangements and some things are far more important to deal with than football matters. It really is a sad day to have to explain my absence at an AGM.
