The club know the Ninian Park gates mean a lot to fans, the Bluebird is also on a memorial stone outside the ground I think, its not going anywhere any time soon.

the kits are what tan believes will be viewed from malaysia... the gates wont thats just my opinion and it will be a silly move because people on the fence like me will turn against him for it

If you read my post I am asking a question and suggesting nothing,you are the one making suggestions and thanks for the advice but the people on the fence don't need me to convince them, I am sure they are big enough to decide for themselves.I am asking questions and will continue to do so to get the answers which satisfy me and maybe make me change my mind, if people don't have the answer then why respond?

no i honestly dont but who knows? i do not know what goes on in tans mind but i just feel it will be a pretty pointless move and tan will have a lot more enemies

i feel the same, that would literally be shitting on our history and i do not feel tan would risk such a backlash

Vincent Tan isn't against the fans, why do you think he wants us to spend his money sort of when next summer we choose the kit and that? Why Julian Jenkins is meeting the 'BLUE ARMY' etc, Vincent Tan has the fans in best interest, the gates would never go, heck I don't even think VT even knows that the gates are there but the gates will never go, they won't get painted red, of course Malaysian fans are going to be annoyed because gates are blue.. yeah yeah haha, the stadium is still blue and remains blue for a while according to Steve Borley, so I don't see why they'd re-paint them or take them down

Im all for what your doing by trying to get the kit back to blue though you go to be carefull for what you wish for but by using these scare tactics and shallow digs is what winds me up more. Honesltly no. Badge maybe like others have but kit no. I can see a small reason behind it though. Cardiff city to progress.

Changing the gates would go against everything they have said about Keeping the tradition in the ground etc etx and offers no benefit.

If they change it I would be outraged and go down at night and paint em back.

I am glad I asked this question....I am trying to understand how taking our badge,colours and nickname can have less effect on fans than the gates,.............the gates are very special to me for many reasons and would be the last straw but if they can do what they have done would they even blink at changing the gates?.,would make an interesting poll

'Pro Blues' reading from what they been posting have become very narrow minded. At first I understood their view but they become narrow minded.

It can be said for both sides but I find that people who are adamently against the change can be just one train of thought and wont look at the other side of the arguments.
