pretty much spot on... could maybe have xavi as opposed to iniesta. euro 2012 players of tournament so far ozil for me followed by ronaldo.

Neymar 3rd overated untill he proves himself in europe in my opinion

For me Gerrard is miles away from the top 5, 8th at the highest, and that's on a good day. He's way past it now

The reason I chose Neymar is because of his sheer skill, I've watched him a few times, domestically and internationally and he's always stood out. Especially against Scotland last year.

Some other contestants could be Sneijder, Bale (at a push), or Ibrahimavic.

Really hard to keep Sneijder out of the list though. He was a class act in this tournament even though his team mates were not performing.

Terry is majorly underated.

Neymar too young and he's only played in Brazil. I think Goetze is better. Bale cannot even be conisdered top 5, great player but nowhere near some others.

Sneijder as much as I like him hasn't been relevant since 09-10.

Pique looks well dodgy without Puyol covering him. Better on the ball but not got brilliant anticipation, and nowhere near as good in the air as other world class defenders.

all the usual suspects are there,glad rooney isnt one of them.the english media really do cream over him.personally i think he would scrape into the top 20.

Lot's of discussion on here. On the case of Terry, he would probably make it into the top 5 of wife shagging, but not football. Top 10 perhaps, but like Gerrard, past it.
