There used to be an old joke about the New Found Out, it went, " If you threw a petrol bomb through the door they'd drink it before it hit the floor"

The "goodies" good companions top of llanrumney! Closed down now but that pub was out of control, especially the bar lol used to be a pub called the costom house in cardiff that was supposed to have had a serious reputation, to young to have been there but ive heard stories about that place.

The muffler on the Maesglas estate in Newport was an interesting place to go for a pint.
They had to unlock a cage so you could play the fruit machines.

not a pub, but the old Rainbow Club in Gorseinon.
The prevailing atmosphere seemed to be "if you haven't pulled by 9 o'clock, may as well have a fight so it isn't a complete waste of an evening".

When I lived in Kent there was a pub called The Downham Tavern that was rough as hell,
They had a quiz night one night and the first question was " What you f*cking looking at"

I went into the Goodies once and one pint of Carling allowed me to witness three seperate fights break out, never went back in after that.
However the Bottom Shop ( The Links Tavern ) in Leith, I have witnessed some truely shocking behaviour from all types.
Also honourable mention to the golden gates at Meadowbank during Alex Arthur v Micheal Gomez or Hibs v Man city as it turned out to be!!!

The Masons Arms in Kensington
Bloody hell what a place. Me & my chums from uni were in there one afternoon after we'd finished our buttered scones with clotted cream.
Anyway we were about 8 handed sitting by the open log fire when in walks in 8 ruffians from the local state college (filth) you could tell these were bottom of the rung as they were all wearing training shoes & one had an ear ring.
I sat minding my own business when one of them called me a 'pretentious b*stard' me? Pretentious? I nearly spat my latte all over the place. I wasn't having that so I stood up & said 'listen here laddy boy don't come around these here parts & start abusing the local patrons or I'll give you a bloody good talking to'
He didn't like that. He then put on a snarling face & said you ponse I'm gonna cut ya. I was obviously shocked by this so pulled out my riding whip & laid down the law to him & said 'right sonny jim enough's enough you will leave this establishment & never come back or I'll.... I'll... I'll get my father to bloody well sue you how about that?'
With that we made our excuses & got into daddys Range Rover & headed back to the stately home.
Very close scrape & iarning you once & for all stay away from the Masons Arms in Kensington its a bloody dive!
