Had a meeting today with Jon Bassett.

Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:35 pm

The owner of many pubs including the Ninian Park and its sad knowing that the Pub is really one of the last remaining things from the old ground. With the Blues now moving back to town there will obviously be a knock-on effect with the walk through so I urge everyone to ditch places like Whetherspoons and support the local boozers!!!! :ayatollah:

I hope that he will give the Ninian Park a final shot so that it will be the fans who decided whether or not they want to keep it open.

f**k me your duller than I thought. Weatherspoons are essential to pubs in this country.

Spoons only buy pubs which are struggling and face imminent closure. If no one wants to take the pub on Spoons will come in. They promote REAL ALE and the beer is always good. Going to Spoons is not the same as going to a proper boozer and you would never call a spoons your local but they do good value food and serve good beer.

The people of Merthyr have been vindicated for voting this fucker out now. Ho ho the people of the Gurnos, hoo f*cking ray.

Fare enough, I believe in all feedback is good feedback whether or not its positive or negative so if the prices stay the same then would the pub have your custom again..?

I dont support wetherspoons Adam i support the canton cross and the napier in canton which are by far superior to the Ninian Pub which sadly wont be missed by me due to piss poor beer and crap food. And to answer your other statement these pubs mentioned do not hike up prices on match day. :ayatollah:

Re: Had a meeting today with Jon Bassett.

Been in the Ninian twice and the only way I can describe it is as a shithole tbh.

Weatherspoons everytime for me, nicer venue, more options, better drinks, better prices.
If no then the gooscombe.

Please don't shoot me for this but I would like to see the club buy it so that it could be kept open for thefans and general public alike. If its not well supported in the off season it could close and open inthefootball season.
