Great news but how many quality players have we been after that has not materialised? We had the chance last transfer window and failed with all the big bids. Ok we secured the services of Kadem Harris who is one for the future but where are the others?

The answer is they have gone toclubs offering bigger transfer fees to their former clubs.

We have been linked to a striker that seems to be going to Wolves. We bid for Jay Rodriges but he went to Southampton how many more are we going to miss out on!!!

Yeah has to be worth a shout, just saying he aint a Bluebird, never was and never will be. He's a Cardiff lad but City was never his team but like you say Id have him back with a shot.

To be honest you'd expect him to have the highest budget in history. With inflation every season that we don't get relegated/get into financial trouble should really mean higher budgets.

It's why I don't begrudge Dave Jones' spending. He spent what was to be expected for a club of our size/ambitions and achieved far more than we would have expected when he was appointed.

No probs mate, I am not having pop at you, I just think he is overrated and far to expensive in wage costs, plus when push came to shove last year he went for the money not for his home town club, so stuff him....

dont think we need much strengthening defence department wouldnt mind keogh if rumours true since he can play centre and right back, mcnaughton can always go on left back, taylor and mcnaughton going for left back and between blake and keogh for right back

Bellamy was 100% committed playing for City and he was a great example to the younger players when it came to effort. He was also a born leader on the pitch. I don't know if he would fit into Malkys plans but he would be a good addition.

not being negative but i'll believe it when i see it! when there is some actual evidence that quality players are in talks with the club and are standing with Malky holding up the shirt!
