I never used to be patriotic at all, but since we're getting two days off work this year courtesy of the queen, I'm the most patriotic person you'll ever meet.

I actually feel genuinely sorry for many of my friends who are English, but who are also ardent Republicans - they effectively can't even sing their own national anthem - that is an awful position to be in.

I am not proud to be british, I am proud to be Welsh

however, that does not make me a nationalist and does not mean you need to be anti english/british. dont confuse concepts

British people are like us they are our friends. We work with them , socialise with them many of us marry them or our kids do

It depends on what you mean by British.

The Welsh tribes of course were the ancient Britons, who fought against the Saxon (English) invaders.

British, as its now come to be known is something else entirely.

My preference is to look at things less nationalistically.

My natiomality is Welsh
