Who would be realistic replacements???

Fri Jun 01, 2012 9:25 am

Who be the realistic targets to take over from Malky if he were to go to Norwich City?

All the ususal names will be banded about:-
Gus Poyet,
Chris Hughton,
Alan Curbishley,
Steve Bruce,
Roy Keane,
Alan Shearer
Ian Holloway.

I would go for Ian Holloway as first choice but would the Malaysians go for former target, Alan Shearer.
Who would you like to see come in if Malky goes. The lure of Premiership football and at a former club maybe to big an opportunity to turned down, just as Brendan Rodgers has found out with his move to Liverpool.

Lee Clark I wouldn't mind seeing here

Lee Clark/ Mick McCarthy? Bit early to speculate I suppose. Lambert hasn't gone to Villa as yet and Malky is our manager !

Kenny Dalglish

Would they go for Bellamy who they have already spoken to and have someone like "Dutch Ray" alongside him.?

Karl Robinson has done well at MK and Lee Clark did well with Huddersfield

Right let's nip this in the ass before it starts MALKY is our manager and he ain't going anywhere he left Watford for Cardiff so that he could do big things with our club he is merely a fraction through a huge restrucuture of it and by the looks of our transfer talk has been giving money to start building a PL quality team also as it keeps getting said on here our facility's are as good as anyone's in the PL so why leave he got what's any manager would want 1. Money to spend 2. Backing from the board 3. Respect of the players and most important the respect of the fans. So let the media and the bookies talk but MM is ours an he ain't going.

Sorry to be the bad news breaker but he will go where he wants to go if the MONEY is rite for him and are club at the time it happens if they come in for him that is, sadly thats the game we are in today even if us fans want him to stay it happens with players and goes on with managers :ayatollah:

Last I heared was that CeltSHit manger Neil Lennon had been approached about the Norwich job so it doesn't look like Malky is going anywhere. But if he did Karl Robinson, Lee Clark or Eddie Newton would get my vote, another good ambitious young manager. :ayatollah:

I actually read it on Twitter but that's where the person who tweeted got there info no doubt. All the same I still think Mackay is their no.1 choice to replace Paul Lambert. :ayatollah:

Personally think Poyet, Hughton, and Hollway would all think they would be better off at their current clubs than coming to Cardiff.
