Brenda Rogers

Now he ain't a jack c***

How do people think he will do at Liverpool?
I've got slated for my opinion that he got lucky from previous set ups and I'm certain he will now get caught out like he did at his last big club (Reading).
He had a very good season last season though and no one builds the self up more than Brenda.

Thoughts?
fail, last just over a season and a half playing poor football

League position?
5th or 6th

Bad appointment by liverpool. Very surprised.
Can see this being another AVB. Not ready for the type of job. Once hes sacked by about christmas he'll be back in the championship. Maybe lower prem.

I quite like AVB, just the wrong job for him.

Same here i like him aswell.

Just think with a little more experiance could have worked out better for him. Breda has only had 1 season in the top flight and second season seems harder for teams so it would have been interesting to see how well they done then. :ayatollah:

Re: Brenda Rogers

Now he is not the Jacks manager he is still Arrogant, smug and conceited.............. and unemployed by February :P

IMO he would have failed at City, we are probably a touch smaller than Reading where he failed miserably.

Watford and Swansea are smaller, friendlier clubs with less exception, its the expectation that kills you.

watched his press conference he really has got a big self ego,but what has he actually done. :!:

Re: Brenda Rogers

Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:15 pm

Gylfi is not a Jack so I guess he can go where he likes...

Sorry but if a player wants to leave Swansea then are they really going to stop them ? The player's agent will do what is best for their client.

Unfortunately contracts don't seem to mean anything in football

Re: Brenda Rogers

I'll be surprised if doesn't sign Sigurdsson now.

Re: Brenda Rogers

Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:18 pm

I think he'll do alright at Liverpool. I'd have gone for AVB myself, but Brenda will probably do a reasonable job.

players are under contract so yes swansea will stop them if the money isn't right , if the money is right well that's another matter , our players are worth a lot of money at the moment so we will have to see

Think he'll try and get Ashley Williams? I expect he'd like Allen and Dyer (not so sure about Sinclair), but would Williams be able to make the step up? I'm a fan of his, but Swansea > Liverpool is a sizeable jump.

Yeah I've heard about this agreement, I was just wondering whether he'd go for him after next season when maybe he'll have signed others as well.

You call Brendan Arrogant, smug and conceited, then make a post like that!

Yes he would have failed at Cardiff, but not because of his limits or expectations of the fans but simply because of the dire state of your club, it's finances and the way it's run! Anybody would fail!

Swansea a smaller fiendlier club than Reading! You haven't been around very long have you!

Uh-huh.

Like Jenkins' agreement with Taylor? Wasn't that a release fee which Jenkins then claimed was really a fee to actually just talk to him?

Not that any such agreement would be legally enforceable.

All I'm going to say is the following. When he first took over the jacks alot of people on here, me included, thought he'd get the jacks relegated. Thats all im going to say.

Not really - shows Huw is disingenuous when it comes to contract interpretations.

Taylor's stance was more driven by his agent to get a better contract with you mugs.
