Why do so many of our supporters come on here and post their absolutely pathetic attempts at new songs when we have plenty of old songs from the mid/late sixties, 70's , 80's that carried on through the decades with a lot of them still being sung in the 90's. Younger fans got to learn these songs and they continued through the generations only for some reason to now have sadly disappeared. There have also been some good new songs that arose through the 90's and now the noughties. But the pathetic attempts at insisting we must have new songs when the good old songs are no longer sung does my head in. I also hate it when some fans dismiss suggestions to sing a particular song just because another club's fans sing it. In the old days most songs were sung by all clubs- adapted if necessary to suit each club. Most clubs had a few of their own songs but the vast majority of songs have always been the same songs for every club and there is nothing wrong with that. Far better than the idiotic suggestions for songs I have seen so many times on here. Here endeth the rant from a 'die hard old grange ender of the 60's/70's.

Leeds United changed their Blue & Yellow strips for White, they went on to win trophies. Watford were known as the Blues (for obvious reasons) and are now Yellow and red/black (you know what I mean), ok I dont think they've won much.

All I'm saying is EVERY club changes, be it now, the past or in the future. Perhaps going red will be a new era for City?
