Whenever I read these kinds of posts there is always something missing i.e. an explanation to exactly how we survive without the Malaysian investment?

That is putting it far too simplistically. There is a huge difference between Welsh/English politics and a short period in the history of a football club. It is quite reasonable to have 2 very differing viewpoints on both.

Everyone has a limit these are business men they wont keep throwing money at us for ever. They got where they are from not being silly with there money. They were looking at the big picture and that was by getting us into the Asian Market and more Asian investors. They were going to own Cardiff City lock stock and Barrel, then bring in more investors from Asia. But the club had to be attractive to the Asian market ,thats what all this is about,and if it come off , we would be really big in Asia in a few years time and even more so if we were in the prem and could stay there.

Welshcitydragon - i thought you were a Jack, I was wrong. I also used to take a tolerant tone in regard to our neighbours, but since working in Bridgend for the last four years my opinion of them plummeted, even the educated professionals Jacks have an inferiority complex with a huge chip on their shoulders and are not as gracious to us as you are to them. You may be fooling yourself.

I think DG re-established himself as the leader of our club last Thursday and reminded all the pumped up commentators that there can only be one boss. But, with that in mind our relationship should be similar to successful marriages, one of calm reasoned understanding of our partners requirements.

I think our relationship has permanently shifted, no longer are "they" distant, silent outsiders who need to pump their money in and have no say, but this should not develop into a master slave relationship either.
