bad sarcasm is bad sarcasm.

Might want to check the work permit situation re Malaysian players. If you'd left that one out it might have been plausible.

Absolute rubbish spread by someone who has an agenda against the Malaysians.

No, you didn't say all Malaysian players.

But if you knew anything at all to have made that rumour plausible, you'd have known that Malaysian players won't be eligible for work permits unless the club can make the case they are exceptional players deserving an exemption.

Due to, you know, their national side not having met the average ranking over the last 2 years required for permits to be given to non Eu nationals.

Ergo making the "Malaysian players" part utter bollocks unless their national side dramatically improves pretty quickly.

I believe that's what you were told.

Also believe that since at least one of those things is bollocks at this point in time, you were either told bollocks or being wound up.

And assuming Malaysian players could get work permits how precisely would that be a problem if they were good enough to improve the squad? Or is their nationality a problem for you?

International players get work permits no problem if they have played for the International side , work permits can also be got around and if the Malaysian team gets up the rankings a little ? this is a long term plan remember .

Nerd - i guess you are all for the changes ? your choice of course in a free world - but just wondering where you see the advantages ?

It was a question, don't get chippy. You're the one acting like it was a bad thing to have Malaysian players.

Not doubting any of that. Some people must be really gullible if they truly believe the Malaysians will stop at a change of kit and badge. Red kit in a blue stadium, do me a favour,

Where does this end?

U f*cking fool?you realy think you will be in the champ league in 5 years?.i think every club in the prem just might have sothing to say about that, plus you hapoen to be in the lower league at the mo.
They will have to spend a lot more then 100 mill to get u anywere near..and all the time you so called fans have sold your souls yet you call your self proud welsh men yet you will follow a club that is basicly a asian team in our system and that is the final aim to do?this is just the begining and once it starts and they have control your fucked and all the promisis they give will count for nothing.
And whats more in years to come they could move the club as mk dons did and you will have no way of stopping it.
This just the start as they want nothing to do with u fans because if they dud they would not do such drastic things.
You were a easy target to take over and get there dream of an asian side in the top flight..

Not quite true, Steve, the national team has to have a ranking of under either 70 or 75, can't remember correctly, on average for a time period of 2 years before a work permit would be given for non-EU nationals.

Malaysia last I checked were in the 140s, any improvement would have to be pretty big.

And again, if Malaysian players are good enough to improve the squad, why would that be a problem?

Nerd - i guess you are all for the changes ? your choice of course in a free world - but just wondering where you see the advantages ?

Am I swinging on the chandeliers cheering it on? No. Ideal world, wouldn't be happening, I can see why it's being done.

If we're serious about marketing in the far east or anywhere, we need to get serious about club intellectual property. We've no trademark over the badge, hence plenty profitting off the back of the club. New badge, trademark it, crack down on unlicensed merchandise. Get big, people want to partner us with offers etc in say Malaysia, well, licence out the trademarked material for income.

So should the strategy be for serious marketing in the far east, the colour and dragon are choices that can't really be argued with.

The colour we play in next season doesn't take away from me all the great memories, good or bad, I've experienced following the City. If the finances are sorted out to establish the long term future of the club, we could play in Mr Bloddy outfits for all I care.
