If he was breaking the law, he was breaking the law.
He put other lives at risk by speeding.

This case was not an emergency as it does not take 36 hours to get from Scotland to Leeds so there is no need to speed.
This is a case of a man thinking hes something that he isnt and thinking he can get away with speeding.
Sorry no sympathy he should get find otherwise you will have undertakers bombing around everywhere in their 'private ambulances' claiming their circumstances are emergencies.

I hope to God your child is never in that situation and the driver gets there too late.....but then again, he didnt speed so you'd be happy. Dickhead.

ok 36 hours to live, east lothian is near Edinburgh thats where he was caught speeding and he was travelling to leeds thats a 4 hour journey if you stick to the speed limit faster if you break the limit. What emergency is he in, this is something that happens every day across the country this guy was not in an emergency he just felt like he was. If they needed to get their quick they would have used a real ambulance or wait for it an air ambulance making a 4 hour journey cut into a 30 minute flight. If circumstances had changed whilst in transit he would have been picked up in a police escort. These are the reasons he was prosecuted for speeding.
