the simple fact is look at our attendances and however bad they may have been take 20% off and then you have your attendance so if you take the piss out of us your just taking the piss out of yourself, though me thinks you take a little too much interest in Cardiff

TBH anyone who goes regularly to watch their team is a true fan. I would say though that lads that follow teams like Rochdale, Bury, Macclesfield and Crewe are people that i have huge respect for. It is easy to follow a big club like utd or Liverpool. However fans of Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd cannot appreciate success because they have never felt failure.

Right after a Wembley cup final and a hell of a lot of away games, plus we had the Brighton game 3 days before. We also took about 1000 to Leicester 3 weeks before that so eff off

The hypothetical question is would you maintain your sell out crowds if you get relegated next season? Also novelties do wear off as well-look at wigan with 150 at Emirates on Monday.

Personally i think that next season swansea's away support will decline as will the demand from the plastics. You'll still sell out at home but aways to the likes of sjoke, sunderland, bolton etc will end up being the preserve of the loyal older school fans.

My parents live in w wales and 1 or 2 locals in their village have suddenly become jack fans-i've known these people for 20 years and they couldnt give 2 hoots about scfc when petty was in charge and have been to the big games this season but not bothered with the boltons and blackburns.

why the hell are you bothered about our attendances? the day you get more fans than us at home well thats the time to post an opinion! your espected to have more away fans than us you are premier arnt you>> but next year how many will go away to average teams? same at home you wont have sell outs because away fans for average teams wont take up allocation financially its hard i dont go away because it cost me over 1k a season as i live where i do! but home games i am there, as for fan base thats subjective you have only expanded while in premier but can only fit x amount in stadium so will never grow bigger same for us, i will say our fan base is bigger but doesnt mean they are all city fans just geographically bigger

we went to Bristol during some of the worst weather weve experienced in a very long time, we went when on a tuesday or wednesday night cant remember which night it was with a lot fans not knowing if they could get back home because the weather was that bad plus it was a bubble trip and we took at least a thousand so your excuse for Ipswich is poor

sorry but i think you are over playing premier card! things will be same for us if we were there, say you are there for 3 yrs your fan base could be huge! and then we came up in 3yrs what would happen? tell you what would happen our support will go up all over same as yours as now! fans support own team never take away our fan base same as we wont take yours, its floating fans that swap over and they are fickle to say the least!

you know the real reason you managed to get to the premiership before us and im not going along the lines of your footballing ability because its rather good. Its because you havent had to fork out for a new stadium as the tax man built it for you and you havent invested in your own training facilities because god forbid your chairman would want to spend anything. Youve got to the prem with none of these financial restraints holding you back, because no doubt if we hadnt bothered to build a new stadium we could have bought more players, no doubt if we hadnt built state of the art training facilities and academy projects we could have used that money on the squad.
youve got all this to come and at some point your squad will be compromised due to costs of facilities. We arent that far apart really youve just concentrated on your squad and ignored the facilities where Cardiff have tried to find an equilibrium between the two.
