" LUCK/BUT I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT "

Sat Apr 07, 2012 10:16 pm

Just got back from Boro on the Forum bus, cheers to Carlos and everyone who went and made it such a great trip. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

In my opinion what a great result and were now back in the top 6 and its all in our own hands now. :ayatollah:

The first half was one of our best displays of the season, but in my honest opinion we rode our luck in the second half and Boro could of easily drawn the game, plenty of battling and backs to the walls from the players including some luck for us, you see Malky in football your luck evens out over a season.

Thanks Malky and the players for getting the 3pts and everyone of you acknowledging our 438 supporters who made the 6hr long trip, LOVED IT. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

All though Carlos our leader spent the first 45 minutes sitting with Anthony Gerrard.

Riding our luck, but also their keeper should have been sent off and a penalty in the third minute :D

And they didn't have a keeper on the bench

Carlos went and sat with him.

Not really that was sectioned off from us., Carlos had to go in to another section, they both had an interesting time.

At least 2 of their shots hit under the crossbar/kicked of the line, hard to see from our end.
Fantastic first half display by us. :ayatollah:

Just what we needed, team showing some steel and some craft. Something we struggled to do at this point in previous season.

I seem the squad and everyone earlier and they seemed in very good spirits :ayatollah:

What I find hard to understand is how Gerrard didn't know who Carl was before this week - Carl does after all write a prominent article about the club regularly for the Echo and he's pretty prominent on this forum, and given Gerrard's use of twitter etc. he's obviously not a techno phobe, so I'm amazed he hasn't been aware of Carl's posts before.

Not really, unless you use a football forum then i dont think you would. My brother and sister both on twitter, FB, season ticket holders but they would have no idea who Carl is, even if they read his article in doubt they would look who wrote it. If I didn't use this forum I wouldn't know either.

Excellent away result, makes the game on Monday very exciting, it's going to be a very close end of the season, but I'm loving it. :ayatollah:

Jeff, its Brum I bet for promotion doesnt matter how they go up as long as they go up, I win, I did it because of Chris Hughton. But if we play you in the plaf offs, I think I will be happy to lose my bet. :ayatollah:
