i cant see how we will be more stable next season... the debt keeps going up daily ... especially if we dont make the play offs at the very least.

Agree
The post you reply to is the most annoying and frustrating line rolled out on here. Its almost as if instead of wanting to kick on we should make sure we go down and finish 10th-12th as it wasnt in the so called "plan" to finish above mid table this year.

if they have so much money then they should have given money in jan for that extra spark every club needs to give a final push,,as we did with borini last season.

Annis you know my feelings on this, something is not quite right behind the scenes and if we dont sign any one next week then i feel weve all been bullshitted to but in a polite way.

Polo, your getting very close to the truth, but if I say to much, I get called negative and not grateful to them.

Totally agree with you mate. As I said, club seem to be crowd pleasers this year. I know it was reported we made three bids on deadline day, but why not sooner? Was it so then if they fell through they could say ah well we tried and still not spend? Still think playoffs is a possibility, but we didn't help ourselves by not strengthening

We will still have the same debts around our necks. When your up there and so close, you should then go for it.
If we fail this season, season ticket sales will be well done, other incomes will be well done, then what do you do next ?
We will have to spend next Summer to convince the floaters. I agree we will off load at least 9-10 players and there are no DJ & Co wages anymore, but Malky will def need fully backing and fans vote with their feet, they will want to see ambition, not just talk
If the income is down next season and the debts higher, how will we be better off ?

No point asking for signings in October/November/December/Jan etc if there's still debt, and besides Malky made subtle bids, Owen Coyle will confirm that for you.
Filip Kiss - 500k permo
Lawrence - wages and loan fee - I'd rather him here than not
Miller - 800k and wages
Turner - 750k
Mason - 250k
Gunnarsson - nominal compensation
That's approx 2.5m in transfer fees this season.
I'm not sayign we should get back down to 10th I say we appreciate our targets and we've OVER-ACHIEVED by reaching the play-offs hopefully, we re-assess and re-build in the summer to match or greater our targets.
Don't go crying end of season if we didn;t make the play-offs I'll be proud were competing .

I wont go crying, I will be there next season no matter what, but I guarantee you now, if we dont make the top 6 this season, thousands wont be, the other night the crowd that turned up was actually 15,608, I just say how it is on here.
We had millions from the Carling Cup, even Malky says we cant compete with the other top clubs in this division with their players, its funny the clubs who wanted players got them, same every year.

But previous owners/chairmen have shown time & time again, spending doesn't guarantee success (24 Mill to get out of the 3rd & 4th divisions?). We need to start to live within our means & it'll take time to acheive that, judging by the fact that we are still reliant on VT etc stumping up over £1M every month. Paying top wages for Prima Donna players just drives a wedge between us and the club; as seen in recent seasons.
If we build a team of players like Mason, Ralls, Harris & Gunnarson & reduce our debt, I for one will be happy.
