" WILL YOU BE COMMITTING ? "

Fri Mar 16, 2012 9:53 pm

The club currently have 18,600 season ticket holders, will we achieve this number again next season ?

In recent years there is no denying certain situations have helped with the rise in season ticket sales, starting with the FA cup final, the play off final and the new stadium.

This season we reached the Carling cup final and as a result approximately 7,000 fans renewed their season tickets and around 1,000 became new season ticket holders.

March 31st is the current date to keep your seat for next season, will you be renewing?

What can the club do to encourage fans to buy another season ticket for next season?

I know a few people including family and friends who are not renewing because of the cost involved and other, more important, factors have overtaken.

Do you feel let down by the lack of spending in January, will that affect whether you renew or not? Many have said that we have failed in 5 seasons to strengthen in January, are you feeling the same way?

Why are fans not turning up in their thousands, like against Hull, barely 16,000 season ticket holders turned up, do fans feel let Down, is that the reason?

Let's remind ourselves this is Malky's first season, we should stick together :ayatollah:

If the planning permission to expand the Liberty to just over 30k announced tonight gets approval and we're still in the Premier League, I would imagine that would seriously hit your attendances in the next couple of years as any floating supporters would undoubtedly head West.

Will eventually renew... 2 kids birthdays, company I worked for folded owing me few quid... But most importantly I feel let down by the club. They are happy to take but I wanted us to strengthen especially when we were near the summit and soton and west ham dropping points, I would have gone for Jason Roberts, but what can you...

What ever happens I'll be there

ive renewed mine and my nephews

crowds are down due to the current financial climate plus loads dont buy season tickets due to them working shifts so some seasons they may not catch a lot of home games due to work and dont feel they will be getting the full value of the season ticket ,even though they would be guaraneed a ticket for wembley for whatever cup final we are in.im a shiftworker and have been very lucky ot to have missed a home league game yet tho the coventry game next wednesday im going to miss due to work,il see the rest of the home games

I been getting on my mates nerves for an age... Why put money in to keep us afloat. When you could put the extra in and have some chance of getting it back..by going up. All teams which go up end up giving there chairman, owners etc back a wedge. Blackpool paid out a few quid and burnley.
Madjeski has always had the money back from reading. They all do.
The owners who don't take it out are old school who eventually sell it...
Just put some in rather than toying with us....my opinion by the way before anyone has ago

I've renewed Carl, my 1st zebra payment went out yesterday. I've made many friends watching Cardiff and would be lost without my football fix on a weekend with Cardiff but I don't think we will have as many season ticket holders as last year due to the financial climate, and also with the performances lately a few fans will probably leave it until right at the last minute depending on how well we're doing in the league before commiting that's my opinion.I think we'll have about 15,000 if we're in the top 6 and 12,000 if we're outside of the play offs :ayatollah:

Plastic who only started going for trips to wembley :o

Only joking Evs i can see what you mean its hard to fund a season ticket when you have other commitments :ayatollah:

Re: " WILL YOU BE COMMITTING ? "

I'm gutted I wont be renewing this year.
3 of us would renew but to go from £156 one year, to £240 the next, with how expensive this season has been with extra games (Wembley) and with the current economy. It's just a little too much for someone who's 16 and unemployed :(
I'll definitely be getting one for 13/14 though (turn 18 that season and will get my car crash money from 2 years ago)

Will definitely be going to at least 10 league games though, all the home pre-seasons and all of our home games en route to the FA and Carling Cup Finals ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I'll probably chuck a few Wales games in as well for the fun of it :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: " WILL YOU BE COMMITTING ? "

Ive already renewed mine, but I am worried this time that if we don't make the top 6 or don't strengthen strong this Summer we will be well down next season in season ticket holders by thousands.
