From the outside looking in, I would blame the Cup final. I think it's a mentality problem right now, something along the lines of one or two players thinking they are better than they are because they raised their game against Liverpool and ran them close.

From what I read on here and the couple of games I have seen you play, work rate was a big part of your game and it seems to be missing?

Mainly the manager's tactics.
Can't fault effort from the players, and the board have backed Malky from the start. Even more so once we reached the final.

Sure Malky has been great so far, and connected us all. But I think it's entirely his fault that the players are burnt out.
He encourages non-stop working hard (which isnt really a bad thing) but its taking its toll on the players. Also his favouritism plays a big part. He has his 'golden boys' such as Turner, Cowie, Whitts, Mason, Rudy, Kenny. When we have other capable players such as Earnie, Naylor, Quinn, Kiss, Conway, Ralls, Blake, Keinan etc..
For the run-in he should definitely be using some of these players, just to take a little bit off the regulars so they can recover some of their past form

Malky had nothing to start with this season except half a dozen suspect defenders.

It was encouraging early doors, he now knows what its like at a sleeping giant

next season is his season, the players are bought, sold and coached by the manager. Of course he has financial restrictions, as do all managers, but Leicester couldn't buy their way out of the championship and we couldn't loan our way out last season, so lets hope he find the magic potion.

You only have to look at Birmingham city last season to see that the CCF didn't help, & the way we lost the final aswell took a lot mentaly out of our players, none more so than Kenny Miller. Will the guy ever take a penalty for City again? Given the chance i know i would trust him to do so, just to get the monkey off his back, but its a big ask.

Although i think the fact that our main striker isnt scoring is the main problem, that doesnt mean i blame him, there's a big difference!

we're a team, in this together, and when one of our players is out of form then everyone needs to help him through it as best they can!

and we dont have any better options than him right now anyway

i still think think he's the best striker we've had in years

I blame Mackay for picking the same team and formation week in week out and not utilising the Transfer market more successfully
