SCUNNY AWAY 93

Just thinking of old away days and this trip is still my all time favourite, how many of this forum was at Scunny on that famous day,by far my best ever away trip. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

For some reason we had clowns masks on, i was 18 at the time, but cant for the life of me remember why the clowns masks. :roll:

One of the best days ever! Seeing City fans hanging out of the hotel room windows across the road from the ground, as we arrived was :lol: :lol: :lol:

Went on a mini bus with lads from Port Talbot, Kenfig Hill and Porthcawl, superb day out and great memories. :ayatollah:

:) I took it off before kick off and lost it during the game anyway, also i dont hide my identity, i sit in block 104 row M seat 502,say hi oneday Ralph. :ayatollah:

health and safety issue in the canton stand on Tuesday :D

A busload of Cardiff got knocked back from Scunny at a Clydebank friendly for behaviour at this one i'm sure. One of our directors was begging for them to be allowed in :lol:

I couldn't go :oops: ,I fell on the pitch at Ninian Park v Shrewsbury when we invaded the pitch. I broke my arm in 2 places & shattered my elbow :oops: I remember being taken by ambulance from the first aid room by the canton & everyone rocking it back and forth :lol: Straight to the Royal Infirmary & operated on the next day :ayatollah:

I thought Wrexham was brilliant as well. We needed to win to get promotion, they were up there as well, and being Welsh rivals there so was a bit of needle to the atmosphere.

Scunny was just a total celebration. 3 sides of the ground. Superb.

One of the best days following City in 25 years.

Got thrown out of a pub in Sheffield with 2 friends after the game for constantly doing the Ayatollah on the tables. :ayatollah:

Yeah i went to all those games. I have the pictures as well will try and get them up later. What a Day they all was. Scunthorpe was and still is my favorite away game. Everyone doing the Gavin Ward was class a sea of arms gong one way then the next. Wrexham was total class as well. I loved those Days :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Dai, that was an amazing day, that whole season was one my best ever seasons following City, We took 5,000 to Wrexham, 1,500 to Northampton and Colchester on Friday nights. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Loved that trip. I've got some great memories - and photos - of that day. I stayed in Cardiff for the night when we got back and went out and got proper pissed.
