" BATTLED TO THE END/BUT VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING "

Sat Mar 10, 2012 8:43 pm

Finally back on track with a an ugly/battling performance at Bristol City, love it when we snatch the win near the end, especially against the Worzels, Malky never sat back in this one and went for the win. Celebrations were superb and we never stopped singing, well done to those who travelled to our local rivals. But very very disappointing seeing the away end nearly half empty.
Hopefully if we continue and win our next 3 home games, we can fill the away end at Birmingham. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Not the best of games, but who cares when you win. :ayatollah:
Loved today and thanks to everyone(the whole coach) who came to Castleton for a drink before the game. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Just got back, its amazing how a win can make you feel back on top of the world again, especially away from home :ayatollah:

We've got 3 home games in a row, we can now go on a winning run. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Would have loved to come today but was guilt tripped into staying in to keep the girlfriend happy. A lesson well learnt as she then fcuked off to Cardiff to watch the egg chasing. Had I known a week earlier I would have kept some money back to go to Bristol. Never mind 3 good points and will be going to Birmingham regardless of her plans :D :ayatollah:

Annis to be fair this game should be on a Tuesday night instead of Brighton away. As I have said in another post you guys could be heard all night. Well done to each and everyone of you.

Happy days. I did have a word with him about it on Wednesday night. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Out of interest did the great escape get repeated again today? I feel it would be more ironic today after that game

Glad we managed to grind out a win. It is a bit worrying giving up a lead again, but we did well to get the second goal.
Really wish I could have gone to this, but had other commitments I couldn't get out of. Hopefully going to either the Birmingham or Boro game though (I can't afford both sadly).

Very loud :ayatollah:
Fair play.
Defiantly sounded louder than Bristol.

Annis ----I think you underestimate the recession we are in and even though you may not be struggling financially, thousands of people are and going to Wembley buggered a lot of fans (me defo) budgets up. With bills to pay I'm afraid City away games come a poor second. :old:

the real sadness about them singing about the Queen is that she is of german decendency and there is a clear link between members of the English (not Welsh) Royal  family and the Hitler youth - alledgedly. But I suppose their a bit too dull to realise what they sing about.

Saddles, I totally understand that and I know many who are in that position, but out of 34,000 who went to Wembley, surely we should of taken more than 800 fans to a local derby, the pubs were full in South Wales with fans drinking and I am sure if we had been at the time still going for promotion, more would of gone. Keep us all positive Saddles. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Its strange what a win does.
Saddles its funny how many City fans are now booking for Boro away and staying over night.
