Earnie for Miller

Wed Mar 07, 2012 9:54 pm

Against Bristol, come on Malky you know it makes sense. Miller is better suited to Rugby the times he put the ball over the bar.

Earnie has been garbage this season, people need to realise he has past it and we shouldn't have signed him.

It has got to the stage where this needs to happen. Earnie score rate is excellent compared to Millers.

Re: Earnie for Miller

Wed Mar 07, 2012 10:04 pm

I listened to all the game on radio Wales, I thought the commentators sounded very positive about Millers performance, sounded like the opportunities he had were self created.
Second hand info from them tho, so you must be right, oh hang on?

Re: Earnie for Miller

Earnie has the best strike rate ! He deserves a chance. He has only had 10 starts & 2 as sub and for the majority of those he was taken off. Scored 4 goals during those short spells.

Re: Earnie for Miller

Earnie has scored more goals that miller had Hague.he is not past it at this level. The guy averaged 1 in 2 for last 2years..idiot

1 in 2 but how many games has he played? Don't forger Malky sees the players every day in training so i think fans should leave the decision making up to him.

Re: Earnie for Miller

Miller missed 2 penalties this season very poor for an expierenced striker.

Rooney and lampard miss lots of pens, bet you'd take them on loan.

By any chance did you actually see the games Earnie played early in the season, when he refused to pass to Miller, who had taken good positions, preferring to go for glory from outside the box?

You and others can wank over CHopra, Bothroyd, real fans will realise the one thing that will get us up is a TEAM of TEAM players.

but did he not pass to him because they do not like each other?
i have noticed a lot this season that conway does not like passing to taylor even when he is in a cracking position to whip a ball in. does that make him selfish greedy and not fit for a place in the team?

Have you really, hmm?

Earnie has always been a glory hog. Always. Great when the ball goes in the net spectacularly. Crap otherwise. Which is why Earnie has always bombed out of teams in the Prem and the Championship, irrespective of goals scored.

mmm yes that was past seasons , so why do teams only put him on bench or get rid of him after 1season? could it be because he doesnt pass ? cant hold ball up? cant head ball? are we all idiots because we think ernie is not for us?

Re: Earnie for Miller

Malky sees Earnie in training, we don't, shouldn't we trust his judgement?

^^^ THIS!
I'm not slagging Miller off and I think he is a very good player but he NEEDS a rest, FACT. Why the hell is Earnie not given a chance?

He deserves a chance at least. If Earnie was given half the amount of gametime Miller has had lately, he would have scored at least one or two goals.

Re: Earnie for Miller

Earnie's last crack at a big game was the shocking awful embarassing miss against England.

He shouldnt be here. He is NOT good enough for this division any more.

Millers strike rate is very worrying at the moment.

But we are talking about a player who ran the absolute bollocks off top defenders
at Wembley. Stuck at it. Stuck at it..... and was the main reason we made headway
in that second half.

Earnie would have just been stood still waiting for a threaded ball through, on a plate...

.... and he would have been too slow to beat any Liverpool defenders

For a lad of his experience he's pretty clueless

Liverpool would have beat us 4-0 with Earnshaw up there instead of Miller
