In all fairness mate, If you pay extra for special delivery you expect them to provide the service you pay for. What's the point in paying extra if there all going to be delivered by thursday...

Did you not order season tickets to be delivered for the 2011/12 season? If so... You should have learned your lesson.
We all got burned by the "Special Delivery" trick. Listen if your that pissed off about not having them today, speak to the club about getting your special delivery money back instead of bitching on here and dampening the mood! :ayatollah:

I think its understandable people are"bitching" why not send them earlier, everyones plans are different.and as for the few saying why didnt you "queue" I went down twice(first time early)and after a steward informed me that its open till 5 oclock.Went back at 1.45 to have the gate shut on me.Some people have work and cant get down no other time. However I wont be panicking till tommorow. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Your comment has no substance. Special Delivery is usually used for expedited delivery. So before you make cocky comments, please do some research.

spe·cial de·liv·er·y

Noun: 1.A former express mail service of the United States Postal Service that involved expedited delivery of mail, often by special courier.

2.Any mail service that involves special handling or expedited delivery.

However, to the original poster... Wait until tomorrow!!!

I dont think anybody would promise you would get them in 3-5 days because you paid for special delivery. That really WOULD be poor service! The promise you would get is that you would receive them by 1pm the day after they are sent out. They were being sent out yesterday and today.

1. How do you know it is Royal Mail? Not a courier...
2. The tickets were probably only Printed for e-ticketing orders yesterday (for one's needing to be sent).
3. Did you buy season tickets last year? If so you would know that the link above bares no likeness to the rules at Cardiff City!

1. People saying "their postman" has delivered theirs is a clear indication it's royal mail.
2. Special Delivery is 24hrs guaranteed, thats what ive been saying all along, people moaning they havent had them when they havent been sent out yet.
3. I did buy ST last year, it arrived, when it said it would. 24hrs after they posted it.

1. Because mine have been delivered
2. The club have had possession of the tickets for weeks
3. Yes. The rules are not Cardiff City's they are Royal Mail's. They are delivered by 1pm THE DAY AFTER POSTING.

1. Special Delivery is 24 hours from when the company give it to Royal Mail (so Cardiff would have given 1 batch yesterday and one batch today).
2. Special delivery of 24 hours is NOT guaranteed. It is only 99% Accurate.
3. By this point I'm sure your just making a tit of yourself just to piss me off. I don't remember one person who paid for Special Delivery have their season ticket earlier than those who didnt. But congrats if you did :D

No tickets for me yet either. And the wife has thrown out the reference number :o :o Will start ringing around tomorrow if no tickets

Re: Beyond a joke now

Wed Feb 22, 2012 2:42 pm

Got my tickets delivered today, they were just posted through the letterbox but the came AFTER the postman had been.

Re: Beyond a joke now

Wed Feb 22, 2012 2:44 pm

I'm with Dackson on this one, I think the club shouldn't have taken the
Money for tickets or delivery if they knew the tickets were not going to be sent out for 10 days

Re: Beyond a joke now

Wed Feb 22, 2012 2:47 pm

Think you could have used the ref number to track the order on the royal mail site. When do the stop posting, sure it's after five, mine came at 9:30 this morning, but I've had parcels come as late as 3. I'm guessing it's taken ages because of the amount of tickets sold online, and to avoid mix ups.

Have you got your ticket? I guess you have.

How many companies you order from would take this long to deliver?

Re: Beyond a joke now

I would say the blame probably lies with the Royal Mails shockingly bad service. Can't see the club holding onto tickets any longer than they would have to.

Yes, I agree with Dackson too.

I, like many others, used e ticketing because of living miles away, with work commitments.
No one had any idea that our tickets would be sent out so late. Why would we?
Wouldn't everybody prefer to have it all sorted as soon as possible? All they had to do was post them earlier.

I buy a season ticket every year for 3 reasons:

1. Loyalty to the club
2.To ensure priority for big game tickets
3. To avoid the hassle of buying a ticket every other week.

E ticketers being left so late (no priority for e ticketers)and the high anxiety involved has only left me with with the first on the list. Why bother getting a season ticket?
It's not the fault of those who used e ticketing, it's not Royal Mail's fault.
The Ticket Office Management has made a very bad decision here. And a lot of people are seriously pissed off...

When I bought mine on the phone this Sunday the very nice lady told me they would be with me 7 days before the event!!

Didn't quite believe that!!

My postie normally comes round any time after 2pm so will be a random one in the morning no doubt!!

Re: Beyond a joke now

I've been rushing home from work at lunch time cos the postman usually delivers round 12.
Three anxious, frustrating lunch times.
ELEVEN anxious, frustrating days.
Still not got 'em.
