DON'T BUY THE SUN ON SUNDAY

Mon Feb 20, 2012 9:28 pm

I'm afraid I've been reading RAWK again - I've virtually become a plastic the last couple of days!

Anyway, the Liverpool fans are pointing out that Sunday is the launch of the Sunday Sun and we all know why they despise it so much.

Someone on their board has actually drawn up quite a cool anti-Sun banner featuring Liverpool and Cardiff which also refers to the insensitive coverage of Mike Dye's death in that rag.

Have a look at the link, it's worth a look and an interesting idea.

Obviously I'm a Guardian reader anyway and would never touch The Sun...

I think he's making a suggestion not demanding that people should avoid The Sun, must say I agree with him as ethically they have had their arses dragged through the gutter recently, the Mike Dye scenario was also an example of how low they will stoop for the sake of selling newspapers.

And all Newspapers have exactly the same ethos as the Sun. I read it for something to read if i want to know the news i watch Sky News or the ten o clock news.

i will buy the sun regardless. all newspapers lie, and no offence, regardless of what has been written about people, i enjoy the read and will continue to purchase

I will be buying the sun as usual and certainly won't be supporting any Liverpool causes on Sunday

When has the Sun been on sale on a Sunday?

I know they are out Monday - Saturday, but thought it was the NotW (which is no more)on Sundays

Bullshit. Real newspapers don't, they print news. Tabloids have the same ethos as they have no ethos, they're there to influence the dumb and fill their minds with things that are not important.
Sky news is owned by basically the same people as the Sun.

I may buy it now as anything a Guardian reader says is bullshit.

Stuck up, snobby, scruffy, look down their noses at people telling me what I can or cannot do.

Them and the work shy scousers can do one as far as I am concerned.
