"WEMBLEY PICK UP TIMES AND IMPORTANT INFO"

Firstly thank you to everyone who has booked on to travel with the forum for the Carling Cup Final against Liverpool on Feb 26th.

Those who have booked tickets for the game through myself, you can arrange to pick up your tickets from Monday evening after 7pm, the tickets are in my possession and there is nothing to be concerned about, they are safe.

When I first advertised the buses I worked a price out on the cost of the coach company's price, at the last travel group meeting I was informed that all bus company's that have not got brand new coaches or coaches that are fitted with a new eco-friendly exhausts face a £200 tax when they enter inside the M25 and into an area called the LOW EMISSION ZONE (LEZ).

When I first booked the coaches I told the company that I would not be going direct to Wembley but to a pub away from Wembley believing that the pub was outside of the LEZ, I have been informed this week that we will be entering the LEZ and as a result I have to ask everyone to pay an extra £5 per seat to cover the additional cost of each bus.

The sharp minded amongst you will quickly work out that £200 divided by 50 people per coach amounts to £4 each, the additional £1 is a donation towards the Fred Keenor statue appeal that we collect on each away trip and will continue to do so until the end of the season.

By collecting the £5 in one hit saves having to have a collection on the buses or at the pub, as I wouldn't mind chilling and having a beer or two myself when we arrive.

I hope you all understand and many of you have already paid the extra £5. If you have paid £25 so far then an additional £5 is required but if you have paid £30 then you are all square, the kids price has risen from £15 to £20 also.
