EVERYBODY down at Cardiff City right now.

Although I do think Malky made a bit of a cock-up during the January window,

the other club was tipped off by the agent as to exactly what we had offered including wages and a 2 million down payment on sordell.
we were gazumped end of story its happened to better clubs than us on the last day of a transfer window.
i seem to remember man utd beating man city to berbatov with 10 mins of the window left.
the noone signing was only stopped by the late intervention of the brighton chairman and we had been trying to sign him for a week.
the negative people on here dont seem to realise the amount of business done in the last few hours of the transfer window and try to insist its just our club.
go back to malky's original press conference and he clearly states that it would take him 3 transfer windows to assemble a squad capable of automatics well by my count he has the summer one left to achieve that.

As Steve said above, we waited because on transfer day agents are tipping other clubs off, we left it late in an attempt to stop that happening, the earlier you bid, the more time the agent has to tip off other clubs. Its no coincidence that over 75% of deals are done on deadline day, it's not just Cardiff City.

MM says we need new players, if he says its not right for the club, chances are it is down to money. Easy to spend someone elses, but if MM thinks a player is only worth £1m, he has maintained he will not pay over the odds.

I have absolutely no doubt that we put in bids for a number of players during the tranfer window, certainly Noone at Brighton, Phillips at Blackpool and Sordell at Watford. All of these have been confirmed by the managers of the respective clubs but only Brighton and Watford accepted our bids so how can anyone think MM has lied about it baffles me.

The Noone transfer was still going ahead until the Brighton Chairman stopped it at about 3.00pm on the last day, when that fell through the club bid for Sordell and whilst the player was travelling to Cardiff bolton stepped in and outbid us. MM decided not to get involved in an auction for aplayer he knows very well and I think it is refreshing to have a manager who is so single minded he has the guts to say no. Even when he has £3-4m to spend.

Like everyone else I wanted to see us sign players but I bet MM already has a long list of players he wants to sign in the summer, and it is very likely some may cost very littleas the summer transfer window is a buyers market.

Our club is being rebuilt from the bottom up with yet another piece of the jigsaw being opened yesterday with the new Academy centre in Treforest. It looks absolutely fantastic and it seems like only yesterday when the first team didn't have a training ground, as of yesterday our club has a fantastic home for our Academy.

When the Malaysians took overwe all wondered how they would look at the Academy well yesterday answered that for me.

These are fantastic times for our club and in my 47 years supporting the club it has never been better and I truely believe things are going to get a lot better.
