CCFC E-ticketing Failure for the fans - Extra Ticket Reward?

As we know E-Ticket has been a major source for booking Wembley tickets already today. However, all those ST Holders that have renewed their ST's by the 9th Feb as requested by the club - were rewarded with an extra possible ticket for The Wembley Cup Final against Liverpool.

Due to very poor planning and a complete E-Ticket failure the Club have not been able to allow fans to purchase their REWARDED ticket online through their system, which has resulted in many unsatisified customers/ST Holders who bought their own tickets in panic or frustration which has meant that anyone who was on the receiving end of this REWARD ticket can not now sit near the person that they wished to because it was not able to be purchased at the same time as the original entitled ticket.

Personally I feel this is an absoulte mess to be fair, and is the result of some very poor planning on behalf of the club. Even on the phone lines people were told they had no idea how they could buy their REWARD tickets.

Just to confirm you can only buy yours or a friends ST entitlement online with the ST Holders fan numbers! You can not get your reward ticket unless you visit the club to sort it out.... Disgraceful!

Apart from that it's been an absolute shambles? Do you agree.....
We might be successful on the pitch at the moment (well bar the last few matches!) But off the pitch it has been nothing short of a mess. Maybe the people that work within the club and just totally incompetent at what they are doing or simply need to go onto training courses and such to increase their skills at providing for the club? I don't know but what I do know is that there will be many unhappy people today!

Personally our club has mess up on this big time and once again have shown we have not gone forward or are not more professional off the pitch.

I had the same issue and as im taking a kid with me I can't risk not sitting next to them. So abandoned on line and travelled down to the club. Just arrived and guess what? Their not letting anyone else join the que and got turned away. Shambles!

Im sure I'm one of many who only renewed early for this reward ticket and I've been deprived of it, I wouldn't call it another golden ticket saga but it's still a huge blow to loyal fans...

I had the same seats as I did for the Barnsley game, 10 seats from the front. But now they are gone! Not happy

Yes I agree, another cock up by our beloved club, how many times have they promised something and failed to deliver. The club are totally responsible for this issue, yet as loyal fans we will get on with it and continue to give our support on the field but as for club running issues this has happened time and time again and people that are put in place to sort these issues either need to be changed or kicked up the arse !

Liverpool fans have been able to collect there tickets since the 3rd Feb and have been able to allocate tickets without issue, it's not like they have been to a Major final at Wembley for some years like us so it should have been us more organised for this special occasion.

What's the difference between the information available for the ticket office personnel selling the extra tickets to fans who turned up at the stadium compared to the phone line personnel ? I assume these fans were able to buy the extra ticket. I have to buy 4 tickets, 2 on behalf of my colleague who is currently on holiday in Malaysia. I guess i'll hang on a while to see how the shambles gets sorted, i don't suppose it'll matter too much as long as we get our tickets somewhere. However for those who've already bought 1 ticket and eventually have to buy another ticket for maybe a family member in another area that's a disaster. The vast majority of people buying today are those wanting the 2nd ticket, that's why the purchase windows are staggered ! How that wasn't foreseen is incredulous :shock:

I presume The difference is the phoned are handled by ticketmaster

f*cking joke ....if i dont get the cat 2 tickets i want they can f**k off ,i wont bother going...wembley and the city can f**k itself,ill save my money....i dont have time to go to the club especially in the week so todays the best chance i had and i cant do shit all....why bother saying to renew and then you cant get the bloody things.

Just managed to book tickets for me and my boy. Tried to book my extra two and computer said no. Sad thing is, we all could have predicted that the computer would say no. I just knew this would happen. When I do manage to get my extra two, we will have to sit apart. I renewed my ST's in a heartbeat when we had the news that first 10,000 renewals get the extras and this is the thanks you get for being a loyal supporter? This is simply just not acceptable. We are there rain or shine and spend a lot of money supporting the club - something needs to be done about this. What a effing balls-up of the highest possible magnitude. The only way it could have been worse if it didn't allow you to buy tickets at all. Who's responsible for this? A 7 year old could have managed this better. They should refund the £5 postage and £4 booking fees for the tickets that we did manage to get at the very least. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Agree, finally got through over the phone and the guys said he couldn't process the tickets. Anyonse else waiting for them to call back ? The guy said there was a system problem which they couldn't fix (cos it was sunday !) and he would call back when it was fixed. Joke

I phoned them last week to check that I would be able to get my second ticket, yes no problem came the reply! Bollocks!!!!!!!!!!

.......What a farce. Just had another crack for an hour so I'm giving up until later as it may be fixed - a Sunday is a good day for a miracle to happen.

Maybe the marketing campaign for this should be changed to "I Would Have Liked to Have Been There" or "I'll Be There If Ticketmaster f*cking Lets Me" with a picture of a fan punching his computer or throwing their not-so smartphone at it. :(

In reference to the extra tickets available to qualifying renewing Season Ticket Holders, we are informed that this is now fully functional following a technical Ticket Master issue being resolved this morning. :twisted:

I should imagine that the club has tried to save a few grand by not forking out on some software, whereby we can put in a system that links in with ticket master.

It's not...........I've just tried again and it's still telling me that I can't buy them. f*cking farce. The truth is that the eticketing software would simply have a business rule to say that it recognises that we have renewed within our account profile and let us buy the extra. This really is janet and john stuff - no-way is this a glitch, its just that no-one thought this most simple of processes through. I hope Malkay is aware of this as I know he would be fuming at this. I didn't realise that Mr Bean was in charge of the ticketing for this?!

Great, so to get my reward I need ot do a 6 hour round trip from Derby. Don't think so, I'll be requesting my renewal money back.
