whats shocking about it
a kid who plays for our academy has tickets for a match our team is in
the sad thing is that if they cant or dont want to go they wont refuse the tickets but try to sell them on but thats how the world is

Sorry but thats how it works
sorry this kids old man is a Jack maybe the club should only recruit kids based on who their father supports instead of looking at talent
sorry this man thinks he can make a quick buck by selling on the tickets on
but could you honestly say you wouldnt do the same thing because lets be honest if i see an opportunity to make money id probably take it

Are you a S/T holder? cos IMO a lot of the 2nd tickets will be sold for profit just like in this story.

Anyone selling City end tickets fore than face value deserves a f*cking kicking. There's ten of us coming down and 7 looking for tickets and if anyone tries to rip them off I can see them getting their money and tickets taken off them and sent packing with a few slaps.

Jonny you don't get it do you. Employees of the Club should under no circumstances use that position to turn into a ticket tout. To the original poster if you know there name you should make the Club aware of what is happening. They should of best have the tickets taken off them and then have a further ban on any future tickets. Players doing this would be disciplined.
There is rules against this let the Club know. It aint grassing when some Jack tw*t is trying to rip of City Fans. Or he sells them to plastic Scousers. Come in our end its at your own risk

I think he meant more than face value, not Fore the face value ....

I know what he meant, whats stupid is giving someone a slap and stealing from them because you dont agree with the price they are charging. Makes you worse than them

There is a rule against that. Mark Grew got in a bit of trouble for that. Name and shame.

That is what I meant. Robbing robbers is fine in my book.

They arent robbing you, you arent forced to pay the price they are asking, its your choice whether you pay it.

You don't do that to your own people, it's disgusting and it's illegal.

I agree its totally wrong, but who would get in more trouble? You for theft and assault, or him for selling a ticket at more than face value?

Got to agree with you there Paul. If i had a spare one it would go to a City Fan end off no matter what they were prepared to pay!! and secondly i would charge them face value + booking fee  and that is it :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

oh i get it just dont know what you expect the club to do
morally its probably wrong
but realistically it happens all the time
several issues here
1 the club cant tell a kid he cant have tickets because his old man supports the jacks
2 people selling tickets for over the odds is a fact of life it happens at least hes trying to sell them to a city fan instead of sticking them online
3 city fans who cant get tickets the normal way will be looking for these people to get tickets there are enough threads with fans offering over the odds and cash incentives for a ticket (there was one the other day offering to buy someone a season ticket for a final ticket)
The question really is whats the biggest issues the fact that hes willing to sell the tickets or the fact its a jack doing it, because if it was a Bluebird who couldnt go and wanted to sell the tickets I doubt there would be a thread about it.

Point no.2 - Yeah we should all be chuffed thath they are trying to rip off our supporters and not those of another team.

It doesn't matter who is selling it, it's illegal and ripping folk off is wrong. Iwas in London yesterday and popped by Stamford Bridge watching touts flog tickets to folk for £250 a ticket before the Old Bill came down and started nicking them. One bloke got searched and £5k on him but I'm sure all the Chelsea fans will be backing him because it was his own fans he was taking money from.

As for what can the club do about it - well to be honest there is plenty.

well its the first time ive heard Cardiff fans moan like women over something illegal
ticket touts have been around as long as tickets have existed illegal or not they exist and people will use them and tickets are only worth as much as you are willing to pay for them.
As for ripping fans off check official re-selling sites i bet £250 is about average
I was looking for tickets for Wales v England as its the same weekend on ebay and viagogo cheapest tickets i could find were around the £300 mark.
If someone can get £250 for a ticket go for it
How many of you will be selling your 2nd tickets to your mates same principle as touting just you do it at face value
