One man got hit by a steward as he tried to run onto the pitch, so he pushed the steward away, less of an offence than what the steward had done to him, and then the POLICE get involved and remove the man from the pitch!! WELL WHAT ABOUT REMOVING THE THUGGISH STEWARDS!!! DISGUSTING!!
And i say all this as someone who didn't run onto the pitch, and have never run onto the pitch or had a disagreement with a steward myself. So i have no personal grudge.
Great result though!

Sent emails to the club about the stewards, they dont REPLY I had to go down in person. They said they will get back to me (nothing to date)![]()
Good post.
Send an email to the club. I think lots of us should. That was ridiculous last night.

KingBobby wrote:Craig - I see your logical point about not going on the pitch in the first place, but there was definitely a better way to handle it than some of those stewards were last night. The previous poster was correct when saying some of them were 'looking' to get involved to fulfil their own desires to give someone a shoeing.
I saw one fat old grey-haired steward pluck a random 16yr old lad from the thousands running amock, put him in a headlock, drag him 40yds to the edge of the pitch and literally throw him over the advertisement hoardings.
Then i saw a 6ft brick sh*thouse fan casually strolling of the pitch and when the steward approached him, he gave him a high-five and they both started laughing and celebrating together.
Now was this because he looked hard as f*ck? Or because this particular steward used his common sense a little and thought 'he's not doing any harm, it's a memorable moment in the clubs history, lets not take all the fun out of football'?
Like i said, I understand the 'shouldn't be on the pitch in the first place' bit (and I didn't go on myself) but 99.9% of the people on the pitch last night were simply there to harmlessly celebrate and it's nights like this that stick in the memory forever, so a little bit of control, common sense and consistency from the stewards is, i think, the point the original poster is making.
Fans celebrating with their team, manager and owners on a pitch full of smiles is just the image the club should be proud to display on TV - especially if we eventually look to be accepted in the Premiership.
Fat old Jacks beating up teenagers however, is not....

Maybe it was slighly OTT, but if we had all paid attention to the clubs e-mails about not invading the pitch, we wouldnt even be having this debate.
Im all for it, i think its good celebrating with the players, just dont moan afterwards if you get tackled or held down, at the end of the day it was trespassing!
Against FA rules aswel, so expect a fine or more bubble trips in future.

Jonny bonk eye. You see less incidents than Arsene Wenger.
