Cardiff City currently have 18,620 approx. season ticket holders including Premier holders.

We really have come a long way since the year 2000 and we are currently in the top 3 of the Championship for season ticket holders.

Our club is currently preparing to market next seasons, season tickets, they would love to get over 19,000.

I think you might be right there Gary, we could get 20,000, Malky really has won us all over,incl myself and I am hard to please

If we reach the PL, defo.
If we achieve a respectable finish this year but dont go up, most probably will get 19,000.
If we go up the plastics will be out in their thousands to get them.
But even if we dont, good marketing, some good new players and the MM factor will probably help us reach 19000.
Just think, 10 years ago we were in the basement division with less than 9000 season ticket holders. Look at us now! 3 Wembley visits in 3 years and on the verge of another one!

I will be doing my bit and renewing mine and my son's.

The thought of my wife getting me to help to clean the house on match day, is too much to bear.

I was going to agree with you, but as City will be putting them on sale within weeks, a lot of fans will start buying them up early with instalments and if we are still up there come March/April then, thousands will have been sold. It will depend on how we do these coming months as well.

I'll buy my first season ticket this year. It's the first time I've had the funds to actually buy one

Over 18,500 is really impressive, especially considering that nobody had any expectations of anything more than mid table obscurity this season

On this subject...anyone know when a new ST holder could apply IE when did they open last year? I heard March...but wondered if this was to late?

I will be amazed if we don't experience a drop in season tickets next season (if we stay in this division). The recession is really biting and some fans will have to pare back their expenses significantly.

The offer was made during the 2009/2010 season for season tickets purchased for the 2010/2011 season. So if the 2010/2011 season was the first we are only in the 2nd season so at worst we have 3 years left.
