Two morons from a crowd of 44,556 seems a tad over reactive. A bit like calling us all coin throwers after the last Swansea game at Ninian Park.

Feking Wussssss!!! I played football for Romiley School Barry, High st School Brry, Barry Boys,Llantwit Major, and Bradford City Apprentice, And racial abuse was part of my game, I used to love asking the opposing players ( HOW THE FOOK DID GOLLY DO THAT????) after one of my Eddie Grey specials, Only I never picked up a cheque for ££££££££££££££s, What would I have given to play in front of the Kop, Or even get to ask Tommy Smith or Mr Hansen if They liked Gollie's goal, I think Tom Adeyem and Mr Evra need grow a pare and be greatfull They didnt have the 70s 80s to deal with like Clive Best, or our own Clive Charles had to put up with back then. I say Enjoy your modern wages and grow a pare. :old:

I think there are some crossed wire's here; I respect your view on this subject and admire Your protective manner in regards to Your young Asian player, I'm not condoning racism by no means, What I am saying is that (times have moved on), Because what I went through playing Football as a youngster makes what certain players are crying about now days almost pathetic, especially thinking of what Black players had to endure in the 60s 70s 80s professional or otherwise, O yes, racism started in your own camp let alone the opposition. A small story for you, I scored two goals against Fitzalan who had Tarky Makalef in Their Team, We beat Them two nil thanks to My crackers, After the game Mr Makelif and Co burst in to Our dressing room and started to clobber some of Our Team, The teachers quickly cooled things down then told Tarky and Co that They had to lose sometime, Then came my surprise when Tarky replied ( Nothing to do with loosing' pointed at Me and said He could have had two hat tricks if They past him the ball) We all got His point including the Teachers, But racism will never truly go away its starts at Board level as well as pitch and terrace, May be You should explain to your young Asian player why out of the many many talented Asian football players with huge potential up and down the country dont even get a look in?, The Asian community can only boast one known Asian player and thats (MICHAEL CHOPRA) That just happens not to look like Raj Patel, :old:

Again Polo I agree with you. Leighton James Dont Like uS simply explanined the racsim he faced back in the 70/80's and how he dealt with it by standing up for himself and giving a bit back.

Yet amazingly he gets called all sorts for his views even though he is black and would know far more about how racism affects you than any goodie two shoes liberal white person.

TBH I find Leighton James Dont Like uS attitude very refreshing and may be the likes of Evra should take note and grow a pair.

Pr'ck; Almost every Black football Player I know personally even Cardiff Players past and recent from the Bennett Bro Garry and Dave to MY OWN NEPHEW Sanchez Watt who played for Leeds Utd last season, And They will all tell you that racial shit is something you prepare for in Football/sport, Gary Bennett used to laugh at the shit thrown at Him, Then shackle the thrower out of the game, He didnt break down and cry like someone had nicked lolly ffs, My other Nephew Kane MacClaggon plays for Bristol Rovers, Im sure He would be happier earning mega bucks playing for Man Utd and having banter with Suarez rather than Division 2.John Barns had banana/skins thrown at Him year after year up and the country well documented on tv, But He used to pick the banana's up ate them then bag a couple of goals, He didn't have a breakdown. Great post. One incident I always recall was Theo Walcott who received racist abuse while playing for England against Croatia. Instead of crying about it he scored a hat-trick. Surely that has to piss the perpertrators off much more than carrying out an Evra like hissey fit?

The city of Liverpool are racists! Iv'e heard Oldham fans are in fuming cos they've been trying for years to get the media attention by having race riots etc....instead a one man wonder and a opportunist media conspire together to make a story bigger than what is otherwise a part of LIFE unfortunately.

This is what happens when a clubs star player admits using racist terms, fails to apologise, the club fail to reprimand him, and the squad wear t shirts in his support! Suddenly a few idiots think racist behaviour is acceptable! LFC have messed up big time on this, they've set an appalling example and have damaged their brand! They need to take steps quickly to avoid this escalating! In my experience LFC fans have a chip on their shoulder and are very self defensive, they need to accept their star player was in the wrong and stop trying to place the blame elsewhere

Luke, making a racist comment doesn't make a person racist!

There's a difference mate.

I think we all make enough racist comments ourselves toward the English fans in the away stands every other week! Does that actually make us racist though? I don't think so.

A white person telling a black person how he should feel about racist comments??

I agree that shouting nig-nog or white trash or paki-bastard is out of order (my opinion)

But the idea of this Adeyemi "in tears"

He's a grown man for f**k sake.

Old Dave Jones is a good example here. Even though he's a miserable b*stard!
He used to get called a kiddy fiddler and a paedo all day long at grounds. What
could be worse than that?? Nobody batted for Dave Jones over that. He just got
