This, classic our fan love players that were shite but hate some of our better players.

I'd have in my team too as long as he stays off his backside

If Malky could sort Jays attitude then yes-most talented player that i have ever seen at CCFC.
To be honest i would welcome virtually any footballer down the CCS. The exceptions would be Marlon King, Bradley W-P, Nathan Dyer, Alan Tate and Lee Hughes

Never

If he would stay on his feet and put in the graft that the rest of the team does then yes, unfortunately i cant see it

His attitude stank towards the end of his time here. That's what I hate. My eyes were wide open and I saw all the good in him - but I also, sadly, saw the bad.
We've got players with the right attitude at the moment and we just need a few more to complete the set and march on towards promotion. I don't think that includes Jay Bothroyd.

I'd have him back if he was willing to fight for his place. unlike others i still remember jay as a good player for us though that interview saying, after he went with england he knew he had to leave cardiff, as well as his performances after his england call did leave a bad taste in my mouth

NOPE!! Simples, innit!?!?
Don't like the way he 'faded' (polite version) towards the end of last season once he KNEW he was going and is second only to Ledley in my list of 'no comebacks' (Chopra running a distant third in comparison)

I agree.
Although I think he'd have a far better attitude and desire to play under Malky.

We all know wot he can do at this level when he's got his arse in gear, sadly if he wont do it for warnock i cant see malky havin much success either

Not a fooking chance. No lazy lazy lazy players in this team

Good point.
It's a no from me then.

he may play for a premiership team but for me he aint a premiership player so if this season goes as we hope an we gain promotion we need a better standard player than mr bothroyd
Wed Jan 04, 2012 10:14 pm
No thanks for me, no questioning his talent but attitude stinks. Would be a huge risk in upsetting our very settled and committed squad, more to lose than gain in my opinion.

i'd take him back in a heartbeat, the guy was class we had excellent value for the money we paid for him, he had a poor second half of last season but don't forget how good he was for most of his time at ccfc

Hasn't he started most games?
