KEBE TO CARDIFF?

Wed Jan 04, 2012 1:30 pm

Rumours going around that Kebe is to join Cardiff this transfer window.

SSN reporting Kebe is set to leave Reading but have not named any club.

Would you welcome him, I know the jacks were keen on getting him don't know of they are still interested.

in a second, he was briliant on the ball in the last game and ive always been a fan, just what we need and will add so many goals and chances.

He's certainly a threat up front and a very good player. But whats his
work ethic like? to be fair he seemed to stick at it against us even
when things werent going well for Reading.

I like him

Excellent Player. Open Arms

Re: KEBE TO CARDIFF?

Yes I would.

It appears he may be a little bit lazy but he's got undoubted talent and seeing the way Malky has turned Whitts into the player he is now then I'm sure he could do a similar job with Kebe.

Pace, skill and an eye for goal.

You dropping hints Carl?

He is a quality player but apparently has an attitude. I am sure Malky can sort that out though!!

Where are these rumours? I havent heard anything.

It's all Fantasy stuff! He wont move from Reading to here, its a sideways move for him so cant see why he would be interested. It's not as if we'd be paying him the big bucks!!

He'll go to the Premier League - Swansea most likely imo.

haha in all honesty though i have been a massive fan for ages and he is a player who i would class as 'sign him at all costs'

he is what were missing for width and creativity

Funnily enough my brother and I were speaking about him as a potential target on Monday. I said I'd like us to sign him if he's less than £750k but my brother is skeptical given his work ethic and body language. I am confident Malky can bring the best out in him but we'll see.

3 -0 down after half hour, i dont blame him :)

£750 k should be about right if he is refusing to sign a contract. aslogn as he doesnt go to leicester or west ham, hate how they are trying to buy the league !!

you dont think were missing natural width?? and creativity out wide?

cowie isnt a winger and conway cuts inside losing the width and space he was outside as he cant use his weak foot. id say there two key things we miss, yes pace too, and kebe is very fast when he gets going !

Reading Fans were saying about him on their website. Saying his attitude was poor and stuff and he didnt go over to the reading fans after the match against city and he went straight down the tunnel moaning. This suggest he don't want to be at reading? He's a quality player and someone we need. If there is one manager who can get everything out of a player it's Malky. Get him depending on the price though!

He fits in well in the 4-5-1 as he's very dangerous and can add to the midfield fire power that we have,
I also think if Kebe was to come, it would leave room for one more striker to come in and strengthen which would be the icing on the cake for us,
another winger is debatable, but also border line greedy to expect 3 signing

Love to have him at the Bluebirds as he is a real quality winger with pace to burn.

Also he is not cup tied as he didn't play for Reading in the Carling Cup this season. Hmmm interesting. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He will not go to Swansea. I believe him and Rodgers don't get on.

If he stays in the Championship it will only be with West Ham. More likely a lower Prem team.

Don't want to 'piss on anyones chips' but the Mail are reporting that Leicester (again) are after Kebe and Sharp see what was printed below :(

Leicester City are keen to land Doncaster striker Billy Sharp.

The Foxes have made a bid for the in-demand striker to rival those from the Premier League and Championship, while also approaching Reading for Jimmy Kebe.

Before Malky he was still a very good player Craig.

What's different this season is the hard work he is putting in, the tackling , the tracking back, the headers!

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that Whitts would be at risk of suspension for too many bookings before Christmas!

Even in those last two seasons, Whitts could sometimes go missing in games and remember many were willing for him to leave at the end of last season. Now he is probably our most vital player and appears to be thriving on the extra responsibilty given to him by Malky.

That is my thinking. We play a very narrow formation and rely on the full-backs to provide width if we need it.

Kebe seems to be an out and out winger, although I suppose it would give us options to change formation from the bench.

he covered more ground per game under DJ last season, i love malky but please he hasnt turned whitts into anything other than what he already was
