totally agree we need an out and out winger who will beat defenders and get crosses into the box but off the top of my head ,i cant think of a realistic target for january,im not too keen on bringing in a lad from the prem whos heart wont be in it either.It really is a difficult situation for malky

He doesn't really he tucks right inside. He does try to give width but I would never say he is played as a out and out winger. Could he play that role? I'd say maybe.

No need for him to tuck inside when we play 3 in the centre of midfield. For me that formation should only be played away from home.

We need to be more positive at home. Even the games we won at home recently were more down to a set piece, or defensive errors. Bristol City aside we have not taken any of the home games by the scruff of the neck.

I'm not convinced that Conway has a good enough left-foot to play on that flank. I would like to see him play on the right-hand side where he could hug the touchline more, rather than cut in.

a cheap option would be andrew driver at hearts. had a few bad injuries so clubs might be reluctant to go for him. he's finished at hearts after telling them he no longer wants to play for them. he'll be gone in january.

a fresh start with a manager like MM (providing he passes a medical) would get the best out of him. before his injury he was one of the most exciting players in scotland.
