I will never give him credit for this, Sam had the dream/vision and started the ball rolling. Sam got us in to the Championship, the Riddler just jumped on the band wagon.

Luke, It was getting to Wembley that was the final icing on the cake for the season ticket sales.

I was going to say, until he accepts responsibility for the golden ticket scam, he will never get any credit from me regarding season ticket sales.

Steve, the problem with the Riddler, he is like an MP, he believes in his own lies, so he will never admit any lies/deceit.

Haha, that's so true. Even watching him being interviewed before the Preston game on Saturday, I could just remember what he was like with us. Scary that he's still involved in football and as a chairman. He's already passing the responsibility onto the Preston board for decisions which is a sure fire indication that he's on a one man mission to f**k that club up and then leave the mess with somebody else. His quote before the Preston game was...
"Remember, there is a whole board at this club. I'm just the chairman. I consulted with the board to sack Phil Brown and it was a decision the board came to."

Yes Annis those American investor are really the big time![]()
Being serious Ridsdale has found a niche and is exploiting it for all its worth. There will always be football clubs in financial trouble and due to his amazing luck whilst at CCFC he has probably carved out a long term career for himself as a financial 'troubleshooter'![]()
You have to admire the brass arsed way he talks his way out of sticky situations and I still remember the Muni Club meeting where he turned a baying crowd wanting to kill him into one that gave him a standing ovasion by the end.
He successfully batted away every question thrown at him (that was the night the Trust really did show how useless it is) and had everyone thinking what a great guy he was by the end. Indeed I bought my Golden Ticket the next day![]()
I'm just glad we have had our turn and survived by the skin of our teeth. I wouldn't wish him on any other club, but lets just say I'm glad he is well away from us at Preston.

5,716 in the ninian stand
2,377 in the grandstand
3,691 in the canton stand

Do you think we can sell 20,000 season tickets in the near future?

i have to say theres so much i disagree with here....
firstly why people put the titles of new topics in speach marks "" really irritakes me, not as if your directly quoting anything. and surely makign a topic is enough to show its 'you' thats writting something.
secondly who ever does marketing, if anyone, should be shot. we are a capitol city with no real large teams near us, so basically the area is all our pool to get our own fans in and yet we cant sell out our stadium, ever ! we have i read a fan base of 60/40 ratio of cardiff fans ....from outside the city itself and inside. to me thats shocking and we should sell out with ease with even basic marketing.
we have only sold 400 more than last season so the inscrease is minmal. yes from 10 years ago its huge but that sonly because we have been successful, got promoted and put out a competative team and a new stadium. those crowds would of increased like this with or without marketing as its natural due to on and off the field circumstances.
lastly i dont think we can sell 20000 ST as we have to keep a certain percentage to away fans and for general sale for each game so unless we extend the capacity i dont think we can.
