I remember City selling an incredible 10,000 City shirts in one season under Rick Wright, which was a record then. I loved it, as for the first time ever kids were wearing them all over South Wales.
Our record sales were when Robbie Fowler was here.

Would we be the number one supported team in Wales if Swansea had a 40,000 stadium?

Crowds of 23,000 are in reality only 18,000 as 5,000 season ticket holders don't bother turning up![]()
So doesn't that make Swansea the best supported team in Wales seeing as we've sold out the home allocation of every single game this season![]()
And dress it up any way you want, we're better than you on the pitch and that is what matters.

But, the space isn't there.
Just like we aren't in the Prem.
Fact is our gates are higher, read the stats. Not that its that big a deal, I'm sure plenty of ST holders don't turn up at yours for Fulham and Bolton, just like we miss some at ours, end of the day its their choice and they are counted on the gate.
You are also boosted by having more away fans visit you to push your gates up.

Fair enough N what ever your name is. But how many did you sell last year when you was in the Championship ? And how many would we sell if we was in the Prem. Granted all the extra would be to glory supporters just the same as you now this season. You have to admit to that Chief

But then aren't the fans who watch you in the championship now ( and us last year) who didn't when we were in the bottom 2 divisions also glory hunters then? By definition, the greater the success the bigger the crowds. Nature of the beast.
