I think Uncle Peter did a good job, after all he did deliver the stadium and when at the club we reached the FA Cup final. Well done Uncle Peter!!.....and good luck at Preston, we are all so proud to have a successful man like you in our family!!

I remeber last year, we had a cover teacher who supported Leeds. I asked him his view on Cardiff City and he said that he did not like them due to Ridsdale however I told him about the Malaysians owning the club and now he thinks that CCFC is alright.

The thing is with Ridsdale not everything he done at the club was bad but he will forever be remembered for the golden ticket scam. Is he a rogue, well there are many in football but I really don't think that he is one. Ridsdale is an intelligent, articulate and convincing man who actually thinks he was a success here.

Who can actually say differently as we were on the brink of administration when he arrived, but he mandate was to stablise the ship, build the stadium and find new owners all of which he did. But at what price?

One thing is certain he has told himself and anyone who would listen that he achieved all the objectives he was set when he arrived, and he has said it so often he now actually believes it.

The fact that at the time he left we were on the edge of extinction is by the way, as I said intelligent, articulate and convincing. Also something of a dreamer who lives in a land called Ridsdaleville where everyone loves him.
