Those that have gone to other Cup games

Wed Nov 30, 2011 2:26 am

Should get their tickets for the semi at £15. Everyone else £30 per ticket.

People should be rewarded for their loyalty earlier in the Cup run.

I haven't been to any of the games by the way so am not looking after myself.

Yeah season ticket holders first but if they have been to other Cup games £15 if not £30.

I am talking about the pricing not the priority of ticket allocation. No argument from me that season ticket holders get priority.

I don't know the rules for the pricing at this stage?

Just because people been to a couple of cup games for £10 a ticket and £20 once.... You think you should get cheaper tickets than season ticket holders who have paid £100s of pounds....  I've never heard anything so stupid in my life :o

Why? People who have been to games should be rewarded. Don't forget they gave the club valuable money too.

yeah okay they have more right than people who have been to no games at all.... but as it always is, season ticket holders get first choice, any remaining will either be gen sale or then people who went to previous rounds. but thats about it

Re: Those that have gone to other Cup games

And season ticket holders ain't??? We have given hundreds and hundreds!!! And people who been to cup have given about £50 each and that's if they went to all games which only a few have!! If your worried about giving the club valuable money,, pay £30 and season ticket holders pay £15

This is the most embarrassing argument ever. I don't care how much we have to pay or when. We are in the League Cup Semi Finals and all Cardiff fans so can you quit the petty fighting. Jeez.

im a season ticket holder, have been fo r 10 years, i havent been to any cup games in the carling cup this season, however i will be going to the semi final, I'm not botherd on cost, reason i didn't go to the other games is that Christrmas is around the corner and i have 2 children, also i would rather save my pennies to go away with city, I will say to my wife instead of getting me christmas presents this year, i'll have a cup ticket instead.

stupid thread!

Re: Those that have gone to other Cup games

I am also ST holder , haven't been to any cup games, but we all committed to the club and will be granted a ticket, the people who won't pay for league games and only go to the odd league cup game should pipe down,You don't deserve a ticket more than anyone else, st holders first, then those who attended cup games next is how it will be and always is....sad but true, if you want a ticket then go every week or chill ya beans

Re: Those that have gone to other Cup games

I would imagine that if non ST holders contact the club and buy a ST then they will be able to obtain a semi final ticket.

Or is that too simple an idea?

Win win situation

Zabier I can see this as an incentive for any future Cup runs. Come to the earlier rounds pay your money and get a reward later on.

OK it is 46 years since our last League Cup S/F but you could also argue its our second major cup S/F in 3 years.

We are a big club and we are going places, let's be radical.

There's always arguments when it comes to big games. Season ticket holders deserve priority for tickets but the guys who have gone to the earlier rounds deserve some payback too.

There's a lot more embarrassing arguments on this site daily.

Not a season ticket holder I take it?

Re: Those that have gone to other Cup games

Perks of a season ticket holder I am afraid. Thats the premium we pay for paying for 23 home games a season, not fork out for the odd game here and there.

If you dont like it. Tough. Or buy a season ticket.

How many of these getting on the moral high ground went through on a childs ticket last night ?

You get a ticket no problem but pay 30 quid if you ain't been to the cup games.

on that basis, non ST holders if we reach the playoff should pay £400 a ticket?? cos thats what i pay to watch all the league games

Course it's a problem. Everytime we get a big game there's moaning galore about who gets tickets etc. If we draw Man City or Liverpool in the semi the amount of away tickets available might not meet demand. Ergo we have a problem.

No not that at all but maybe season ticket holders could get a discount on the price for say a home semi. That would be fair maybe.

thats not a problem, if we draw a big team, STH get priority, its only an issue for people who dont commit to the club at the start of the season.

if theres not enough away tickets available thats tough, thats why the call it away and not home !!

I have been to all home games {ST Holder for over 10 yrs} and several away games this season.. that gives me and others on here who buy our season tickets priority to non season ticket holders... sorry if you don't like it but that is part of the condition when I purchase my ST... :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

always the same with tickets, non season ticket holders expect to get tickets over ST holders, Thats why i pay for my season ticket up front every year, so i can watch my club in 23 league games, and cup games with out queuing for hours to get a ticket. I thank you :ayatollah:

£30 be fucked, thats one way of ensuring a non sell out.
How petty are some comments in this thread.
We get the same thing happen every year, whether it be play offs a big cup draw. The same bullshit threads show there face you all know the score pre season. Season tickets get priority on home and away games rightfully so end of story.
