Malky has said the the legacy that Gary Speed has left for Wales MUST ! carry on, Could Malky do this Job Part time ?
I remember at one time some managers for Wales did it part time and Gary speed did say to Malky that he wanted to forum some kind of relationship with Cardiff City I believe. I believe Malky would be the one to carry on Gary Speeds work .

i dont think it is at all possible these days to balance such things, plus i think malkay would rather 100% on cardiff

Neggers wouldn't work at all. Really is a full time job these days. Couldn't have two managers jobs.
I reckon Giggsy or Mark Hughes.
Mon Nov 28, 2011 3:22 pm
he's not the man to take over,
but he would do one heck of a job its just not right,
MM firmly has his sights set on managing scotland one day without a doubt, his next job will either be scotland or a Big
P/L Club

Sorry Roy, I would not want that , I personally dont believe it can work and Cardiff City comes first for me.

Sadly I can see Dave Jones being a leading candidate! My personal preference would be Giggsy! I still can't believe what has happened, none of it seems real. Whoever takes over has an incredibly hard act to follow! Never has welsh football been so rocked!

we definatly need a young modern manager as football has changed dramatically in the last 5 years.
Mon Nov 28, 2011 5:14 pm
savage and flynn please
Mon Nov 28, 2011 5:58 pm
Why would we want to lose Malky to Wales ?
Cardiff City has to come first
Giggs & Bellamy ?

I honestly cannot even comprehend where Wales goes now. There are no immediate stand out candidates. It would be interesting to see someone like Dean Saunders have it but I don't know. The thing is the likes of Walter Smith, Mark Hughes and Gary Speed have shown that at international level one of the most important attributes for a manager to have is the respect of the players and inspiration. The players bring the ability and can fit into the tactics. Rarely at international level do you see sides tactically win games. Greece is perhaps the one stand out exception. Most of the time it is the manager that gets his players to perform to their best ability that sees success. We need someone who isn't necessarily a great tactician but more an inspiration.

Malky is Cardiff City Manager and he is Scotish. We need someone who can follow what speed had started. To keep them playing the football they have for the last few matches.

Gary came in with little experience, like mark hughes.
that list of names sent through has our next manager or management team on it.

Cheers Jimbo that means I'm having a sleepless night

Dean Saunders won't be at Doncaster much longer...
Mon Nov 28, 2011 8:26 pm
Did someone mention Dave Jones?
Mon Nov 28, 2011 8:39 pm
Feels to early to be discussing this but if we had the budget I think there could be no better manager than Guus Hiddink. Took Australia and South Korea and made them look like potential world beaters. Imagine what he could do with our squad. However, just dreaming as he must command a big salary and not sure what he is doing at the moment.

Sorry Annis but you can see it coming! Praying FAW don't go down that route, we need someone to continue Garys good work, not take us back to the dark ages.

I know he is more to do with the coaching and medical side but the guy knows his shit and is very well liked. I wouldn't totally dismiss him as a candidate.

I only just saw a news article from the beginning of last week that revealed his contract was up at the end of December

its certainly not a part time role.
Id like to see Giggs get it but doubt he would.
