NEED FOR NEW PLAYERS and BACKING FROM OUR BOARD

Do you all think we need 3 or 4 new players now ?

10th in the league,last 8 in the Carling Cup .

I still stand by what I said the first week in September, We without doubt need these players, in my opinion Malky is performing miracles at this moment, but he wont be able to continue it,without support from our board.

It will take a brave person to say we are oK with what we have got.

We need at least 4 players in that are better than what we have on the bench. I dont think there is anything out there better than our best 11 though.

I think we need a couple players to use as a back for injuries, loss of form, bust weeks etc and it would be useful to get a former premier league player who has lots of cup experience if we want to win the carling cup.

i think we would benefit from a few players but i dont think theres a rush just yet as in my opinion january onwards is a more important time to strengthen.

Malky has said he did try to bring in around 3 players but the money was the problem. I for one would have thought that the way things have been run by Malky the board would have seen for them self s we have a manager here now with passion and the inspiration to get the best out of players, there for they should back him and the players and give the manager the tool he needs to do the job THE MONEY !

I'd love to see a couple of loan players brought in, trouble are that's want they are loan players.
If we can get Rudy back fit and we can make a couple of bob out of the carling cup I would much rather see permanent signings.
I also reckon TG & VT want to see a couple of Malaysians in the side

For me the question is this:-

Is Malky going to the board and asking for the financial backing to sign some loan players and being refused, or is Malky only interested in signing individuals who at the moment are unavailable (maybe because their teams are still in the Carling Cup) ?

Can anyone "in the know" answer that one for me?

I dont think he is 'performing miracles' with what he's got... I think we have a
damn good team, a great bunch of players. But most definitely we are a few
players short of a team who can really make a challenge this season. Its very
frustrating

i think you'll see a few signings when certain teams are eliminated from the Carling Cup. Engines like Cowie can't go one forever without breaking down. Unless there's a few more signings then there's bound to be more injuries and don't forget suspensions will creep in as the season goes on .

I think a decent player can do both but otherwise left.
Sometimes we need to stretch games later in games and can't. Cowie moving central and Conway and another running riot would be a useful option.

I agree, slightly wasted wide but does make us solid.

So many players who can pass a ball now.

We need to get rid of Gypes, Naylor and either Keinan or Gerrard along with Wildig, Parkin and Taiwo.

We need to bring in 2 wide midfielders and a big mobile forward.

I believe that we are not far from being the finished article. The players are playing for the boss and everytime i have seen us play every player has given 100%.

I don't think Milky wants to bring in people on stupid wages and disrupt the atmosphere in the squad we have. Nothing pisses a player off more than to ne dropped for someone from outside the club who then gets paid more than you do.

I stand by that Roy, money is the problem in my opinion.

An out and out winger, chalk on there boots, a burke type player.
I will be happy then.
