I have been working my day job and also working until 10 and 11 pm every night over the last couple of weeks to get my Daughters Hair and Beauty Salon opened ( which was today ) so I haven't had any time to come on here, I was not being disrespectful as that is not my style, it's just I have been bed to work, anyway.

It's so hard to know where to start, Daz that was awesome fella, it was a pleasure to meet you. It was an Honour and a Priviledge for Gary, the players and myself just to be part of such a day, no one was going to bully or tell us we should not be a part of what we all achieved because we knew it was the right thing to do. We lost fair and square, but Mikey D's Family, Friends, the two clubs and Welsh football were the winners on the day, we were gutted to lose but you could see how much winning and lifting the Mikey Dye Memorial Cup meant to Chrissy, I told him before we left after we had a hand shake and a hug that we came to win and please don't think we came to make up the no's, he just smiled, Jason Perry was a Top Man and it was an honour to meet him.

All the stick Gary and I took was worth just to see what we all did for Mikey D and his Family, I have said this to Annis and Carl who were and have been Top Draw from start to finish ( and yes we still speak lol), that Mikey D can and will be so proud that Annis, Carl and so many other fellow Bluebirds and others really stepped up to the plate to help out his Family, God knows how my Family would cope without me, it upsets me just to think about it, being a loving husband and dad.

I love the rivalry between the Bluebirds and Jacks and I mean this, I wish no one any harm, if we beat you it's great, if we lose to you it's a gutter, rivalry long may it be there but the real nasty vile hatred and voilence in my humble opinion should stop.

So to sum up and in no order, I would like to thank Gary, all of our squad who had the intestinal fortitude to step up and walk into the unknown, I would also like to say a thank you to Annis and Carl for never doubting themselves in organising the Mikey Dye Memorial Cup, I have said this before after speaking to Annis and Carl on the phone I knew they were Old Skool and I could trust them with my life after the first phone call, Mozzer and Dobbins who I knew had put a fair amount of effort in and I would also like to thank the Bluebird fans who were great on the day with us, the banter and beer flowed but nothing was over the top, it was fantastic to see how much respect you gave us all but that respect was and is mutual.

Annis and Carl you should be so proud of what you started and finished and fools can say what they like, and I don't mean Gary and myself because we have only know you both for a couple of weeks, but Gary and I know you both enough to say in relation to looking after Mikey D's family, the friendship you had with Mikey D and others is very rarely found and true friendship like that is priceless.

If I ever passed away and my true friends did what you both and others like Big Gwyn have done, I would be bursting with so much pride and I would never be able to repay you.

May Mikey D RIP and God Bless his Family and True Friends like Annis, Carl and Big Gwyn who has a heart bigger than he is for all of his efforts too. ATB. Reeco

Fair play Dazzy, that was an awesome effort. Really enjoyed it. But I'm certainly not going to try and match Reecos response as I'd be here all weekend. But each and eberyone who attende that game desreves a massive pat on the back. Well done all of you.

Unfortunately a comment was left on the video by a so called Swansea City fan who basically slagged the day off,and the organisers,I deleted this post instantly as all posts of this nature will be.These people are living in the DARK AGES and cannot face the fact that the people who organised and turned up at the the event are INTELLIGENT INNOVATERS who care.NUFF SAID

Unfortunately a comment was left on the video by a so called Swansea City fan who basically slagged the day off,and the organisers,I deleted this post instantly as all posts of this nature will be.These people are living in the DARK AGES and cannot face the fact that the people who organised and turned up at the the event are INTELLIGENT INNOVATERS who care.NUFF SAID

Whoever did that, probably wasn't there and doesn't want to understand what people were (and still are) trying to sort out between us and Swansea.

It's a shame, but we all realise there's still work to be done and there'll no doubt be setbacks along the way.
