" IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE: MIKEY DYE MEMORIAL GAME "

Firstly thanks to Chapmans coaches there will be buses running from CCS to Bryntirion FC, leaving Cardiff at 12.15pm and departing Bridgend at 6.00pm, the cost of travel will be £2 per person, I must stress that the buses and drivers have been supplied free of charge by Dorian (Chapman's) but every £2 collected will be added to Mikey Dye Fund.

If you wish to use the bus then add your name asap to give an idea on how many coaches are required.

There will be absolutely no alcohol allowed into the ground so you are advised not to even try bringing any in as you will be ejected, Bryntirion FC have been very accommodating and I welcome their support and will respect their wishes, there will be alcohol served from their club house but there is no alcohol to be taken pitch side, there is tough a patio area where you can drink and watch the game too.

The club are opening their kitchen and will be offering food on the day to order.

Car parking is restricted at the ground so if you can use the buses provided that would be beneficial but there is an overspill car park in the community centre if you do travel by car.

Stewards will be on the gates to collect an entrance fee of £3.

There will be cameras from BBC, ITV and SKY in attendance plus also the local written media will be reporting on the game.

There will be an auction after the game of some really special donated items which will be listed on here next week.

We envisage a fantastic family day to enjoy for everybody and your co-operation is appreciated.

Exit M4 at Junction 35.

Head for Bridgend/Porthcawl through four roundabouts. The first has no lights, the next three have lights. After fourth roundabout (A48) towards Porthcawl until mini roundabout then turn right up through Broadlands Estate. Go all the way to the traffic lights at the top, then straight across. Take third exit left. Then go to top of road, ground on right.

From the West

Exit M4 at Junction 37.

Turn left onto dual carriageway. Get into right hand lane. Take the last exit towards Bridgend, then dual carriageway to next roundabout, take first exit. At next roundabout turn left and go over mini roundabout through Laleston for approx one mile to lights. Turn left then third exit left. Then go to top of road, ground on right.

Just this morning received confirmation that HTV Wales will be there with reporters and cameras on Sunday. Seems like the match is becoming big news.
They will be looking to take some footage of the fans and the game and to talk to some people who knew Mikey Dye.

just confirming the match officials for Sunday are;
Referee - Gareth Williams- Cardiff (Bluebird)
Asst 1 Ian Bird - Port Talbot (Jack)
Asst 2 Kevin Griffiths - Port Talbot (Jack).
All will be at the ground around 1pm.
