I have to agree with that, barbados is truely stunning

Best place I've been to is Vegas! Bit too hot out there though

Ihav been to magaluf 3 times on tours, I have been on hols with the mrs. But the best holiday I have ever been has to be skiing, by far the most expensive, but if you can afford it I promise youll love it.

Sedona, Arizona....

Absolutely stunning 'Red Rock' country and so peaceful too. The Indian tribes considered it a very 'spiritual' place and I have to say that there was certainly 'something' surreal and uplifting about the place

Six hour drive from Las Vegas too (another 'got to do once' venue)

A trip over the Grand Canyon, the experience is worth ten beach holidays

For me it would be between Lizard Island, Hayman Island, Corfu, Byron bay and Noosa.

To be honest though, just being off work with friends or family with plenty of beer money tends to be enough to have a great holiday wherever you end up. I've been to some shithole hotels in Tenerife, Costa Del Sol and Turkey but still had a great time.

Last year was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and also we were both 50 So we did a package which comprised 4 days in Las Vegas where we took an helicopter ride landing in the Grand Canyon. Then 2 days in Los Angeles staying next to Disneyland where we spent a fantastic day we then got on a cruise ship in LA cruising down the coast of Mexico with 3 stops in Mexico and we finished off by flying from LA to San Francisco where we spent 3 days.

Best holiday ever absolutely awesome i would say my Holiday of a lifetime but i would like to think that i will do it all again sometime in the future perhaps when we are 60


If you ever get the chance Las Vegas and San Francisco are fantastic cities

Depending on what type of holiday for are going for.

I like Rio in Brazil, Croatia and Spain.

I have to say Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote coz thats where I am right now , its hot and the beer is cold

Did a far East cruise in 2000, fell in love with the culture and the people, Singapore the cleanest place on the planet, great transport, and good food.

Bankok a few times, must see but don't like the seedy side to the place, down side going through customs they pulled my wife out and took her into a room and terified her, demanded money off her, she payed up but hates the place because of her experience, been to patong , Pattaya, K.L.

Then we decided to go to Vietnam, allways been facinated by the Vietnam war, so did three days in Saigon, three days in Hanoi, went to all the war museums, didn't realise the suffering of the Vietnamese people, familys sacrificed theyr chilldren for the cause, and when you see pictures of US soldiers with the decapitated heads of the VC, held up as trophies, how can people live with the crimes they have commited?

The wonder of North Vietnam was a trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay, two hrs in a taxi with a tour guide, we had a boat with five crew on board, and we sailed out into the Bay to see the magnificent sites of lush out crops of small mountainous islands in the middle of the ocean, then we were treated to a sea food buffet fit for a king, this cost $50 USA fantastic value, the hotel we stayed in in Hanoi was five star, couldn't do this in Europe the cost would be prohibitive.

Far East try it it is great value for money.

Been there a few years ago nice resort very hot enjoy yourself Mart i will be thinking of you when i am in wet and windy Blackpool

I was in the navy for quite a few years so went to loads of great places i think my top 3 has to be
Phuket - Thailand
Hong Kong
Capetown

The were loads more places but these 3 def stood out amazing all of them

my best holidays have been ibiza this year. just love the atmosphere out there and you know when you are in one of the clubs everyone goes out for the music and not just to get smashed like in britain.

You can't afford to get smashed in some of those clubs some of our boys from my Rugby Club just got back and it was 10 euros for a bottle of beer and 15 euros for a vodka & coke

Hope Blackpool's a bit cheaper

That's a tough one, from my experience....

Hawaii for the beach
Vegas and the Grand Canyon for the jaw dropping awe factor
Benidorm for a lads pissup
Dominican Republic for a romantic one with the missus
China for the food
Russia and the rest of eastern europe for stunning women

But for overall, nothing in my mind has and will ever beat Tenby, I love the place.

Sarasota Florida! Beach at Siesta Key was recently voted the best in America, the food is amazing, good nightlife and the women are in a different league! Just an hour a half drive to Orlando and two hours from Miami! Good times!
